Senior .NET Engineer (Microservices & API Integrations)

Job Description This is a remote position. Senior .NET Engineer (Microservices & API Integrations) Remote | Full-Time | PH Based Only Overview We’re hiring a Senior .NET Engineer to design and build scalable, API-driven systems that power real-world products. This role is for engineers who don’t just write code—they own systems end-to-end . You’ll take product requirements and turn them into well-architected, production-ready services using modern .NET microservices patterns . You’ll work on projects involving third-party integrations, data aggregation, and analytics—building platforms that unify and operationalize external data into a seamless user Requirements What You’ll Do Architect and build scalable microservices using .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core) Own projects from technical design through deployment and iteration Integrate with third-party APIs (OAuth, REST, webhooks, external data sources) Design systems for: Data ingestion and normalization Background processing and job orchestration Analytics and reporting Build resilient services with proper error handling, retries, and observability Collaborate with product to refine requirements and shape technical solutions Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability Requirements 5+ years of professional software development experience Strong expertise in .NET / C# and ASP.NET Core Proven experience building and scaling microservices architectures Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations (OAuth, REST APIs) Familiarity with APIs like Google, Yelp, or other external data providers Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong understanding of: Distributed systems and service-to-service communication Asynchronous processing (queues, background jobs, workers) Data modeling and persistence What We’re Looking For A self-starter who can take a problem and drive it to completion Someone who values clean architecture and long-term maintainability Comfortable working with minimal oversight and high ownership Ability to think through edge cases, scale, and system reliability Strong communicator who can bridge product and engineering decisions Nice to Have Experience with: Event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.) Multi-tenant SaaS platforms Analytics pipelines or reporting systems Experience with Self Storage Management Systems (Storable, Cubby, etc.) Experience working in small, fast-moving teams Experience using AI coding assistants to boost productivity (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) Benefits Why Join Us Own entire systems and modules , not just tickets Build products that directly impact customers Work on modern architecture with real technical challenges High trust, low bureaucracy environment
