Senior Network Analyst – SD-WAN (B2B Contract)

Rate: €320–€370 per day

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Network Analyst to join a global Enterprise Data Centre and Network organisation on a 12-month contract, with the view to extend. This role plays a key part in the deployment, migration, and operational support of campus SD-WAN and backbone network services across enterprise sites and data centres worldwide.

You'll be working hands-on with Cisco Viptela and/or Juniper SD-WAN platforms, transitioning legacy WAN environments to modern, software-defined models — and ensuring clean integration between the SD-WAN edge and campus/data centre routing.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and operate SD-WAN and WAN infrastructure across campus and data centre environments
• Design, deploy, and migrate SD-WAN fabrics (Cisco Viptela and/or Juniper SD-WAN) — hub and spoke, regional connectivity, segmentation
• Transition legacy WAN networks to SDN using automation and orchestration
• Ensure clean integration between SD-WAN edge and core campus/DC routing (BGP, OSPF, VRF segmentation)
• Monitor and optimise SD-WAN performance — availability, loss, latency, jitter, application-aware routing, QoS
• Build runbooks, templates, and operational documentation
• Support incident, problem, and change processes; coordinate carrier/vendor circuit turn-ups and cutovers

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of network/WAN/SD-WAN engineering experience in enterprise-scale routed networks
• 3+ years hands-on SD-WAN implementation — Cisco Viptela (vManage) and/or Juniper SD-WAN strongly preferred
• Strong routing fundamentals: BGP, OSPF, VRF/segmentation, NAT, DNS/DHCP dependencies
• Proven experience integrating SD-WAN edge with campus switching/routing environments (not just data centre or branch)
• Experience with high availability and resiliency design
• Comfortable working within formal ITIL-style incident/change/problem management processes

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale network migrations and cutovers, including hypercare support
• Carrier circuit delivery process knowledge and vendor coordination experience
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
