Senior Network and OT Engineer Apply Now ReOrbit is looking for a Sr. Network & OT Engineer to own and develop the network infrastructure that connects our offices, manufacturing operations and mission-critical environments. As our Sr. Network & OT Engineer, you will take ownership of ReOrbit’s global network architecture while playing a critical hands-on role in our manufacturing and clean-room environment. You will design, operate and secure the infrastructure that enables reliable connectivity across our sites, while ensuring that our Operational Technology (OT) networks can support the increasing scale and complexity of spacecraft production. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Security and Mission Operations teams to build a scalable, resilient and well-documented network environment. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable defining architecture, troubleshooting critical infrastructure and being hands-on in production environments. Responsibilities Own the design and architecture of global network connectivity across all ReOrbit sites. Design, upgrade and support network infrastructure across HQ and connected offices, ensuring performance, scalability and efficiency. Own network monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and security across the global network estate. Design and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN infrastructure for a multi-site organisation. Document network architecture, technical standards and operational runbooks, creating a scalable foundation for future infrastructure growth. Own the OT and clean-room network environment, including infrastructure, systems architecture, connectivity, access control and security. Ensure the reliability, scalability and security of mission-critical manufacturing and ground-segment network infrastructure. Provide 24/7 incident response for critical OT and production network environments. Work closely with Manufacturing, Clean-room and Mission Operations stakeholders to anticipate network capacity and infrastructure requirements ahead of production scale-up. Standardise network access controls and lead network integration activities as new sites and facilities are added. Drive Wi-Fi standardisation across Helsinki and connected offices. Manage network-related support incidents end-to-end, ensuring the availability and redundancy of critical network links. Identify infrastructure risks, performance bottlenecks and single points of failure, driving improvements before they impact operations. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering, with direct experience supporting industrial, OT or manufacturing network environments. Hands-on experience designing and operating OT or industrial networks, including network segmentation, access control and security for production or clean-room environments. Strong experience designing and managing global network architectures across multi-site organisations, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN environments. Experience providing incident response and troubleshooting for mission-critical or production network infrastructure. Strong knowledge of network performance monitoring, redundancy design, capacity planning and troubleshooting at production scale. Experience standardising network access and integrating new sites into an existing network architecture. Strong documentation skills and experience creating network architecture documentation, technical standards and operational runbooks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing and Security teams. Nice to have Experience working in space, aerospace or precision-manufacturing environments. Cisco, Juniper or equivalent network certifications, such as CCNP or similar. Experience with clean-room or ISO-classified facility network requirements. Exposure to ground-segment or satellite communications infrastructure. Experience using scripting or automation for network configuration, monitoring or operations. Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management principles. An interest in growing into a broader IT Infrastructure and Support leadership role. What does ReOrbit do?
