Senior Network Engineer

At Auxis, we are expanding our IT Outsourcing (ITO) team in Bogotá and looking for a Senior Engineer - Network and Firewall (Assistant Manager) to lead the charge in designing, securing, and scaling enterprise network security controls.

In this hands-on engineering and leadership role, you’ll tackle complex network transformations, architect robust firewall and VPN policies, and mentor top-tier engineering talent.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in network or network security engineering, with at least 3 years managing enterprise firewalls.
• Core Expertise: Hands-on experience with major firewall platforms, central management consoles, routing protocols, DNS, TLS, and IPsec/SSL VPN services.
• Automation & Scripting: Ability to leverage platform APIs or scripting to automate rule reviews and configuration backups.
• Language: English proficiency at B2+ or higher (mandatory for client collaboration).
• Certifications (Preferred): PCNSE, NSE 5+, CCNP Security, or equivalent vendor credentials.
