Right now, we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon.

Your responsibilities include:

• Data Center Networking (Cisco ACI): Operate, configure and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabrics (tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, L3Outs), ensuring availability and performance.
  
• LAN/Campus Switching (Huawei): Manage the Huawei switching infrastructure (VLANs, STP, LACP, stacking, L3 routing), including configuration, firmware upgrades and troubleshooting.
  
• Firewall & Network Security: Administer Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls – security policies, NAT, site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, threat prevention profiles, HA and firmware lifecycle.
  
• Azure Networking & Security: Operate and evolve Azure network components (VNets, peering, VPN Gateway/ExpressRoute, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway/WAF, Private Endpoints) and hybrid connectivity with on-premises.
  
• Incident & Problem Management: Act as L2/L3 escalation point for network and security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
  
• Change Management: Plan, document and execute network changes in line with ITIL processes and the client's change windows.
  
• Monitoring & Capacity: Monitor network health and capacity (e.g. Zabbix/Grafana), proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configurations, procedures and knowledge articles.
  
• Client Collaboration: Work as part of the client's ICT Squad (Network & Security), in close collaboration with the client's technology team, supporting sprint planning and network/security projects.
  

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering/operations;
  
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI;
  
• Solid experience with Huawei switching;
  
• Experience administering Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls;
  
• Experience with Azure Networking and Security services;
  
• Strong routing & switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP) and VPN technologies;
  
• Fluent Portuguese and good English (written and spoken);
  
• Interpersonal relationship and teamwork;
  
• Proactivity, initiative and good analytical ability.
  
  

• Network/security certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise), Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4 or higher, Microsoft AZ-700,
  
• Hold ITIL certification,
  
• Experience in client-facing / onsite and Agile (squad, sprint) delivery models,
  
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana),
