Method Resourcing is partnering with a leading technology services organisation seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer (L4) to join a highly skilled network team supporting complex, business-critical customer environments.

This opportunity would suit an established Senior Network Engineer, Technical Lead, or a strong L3 Engineer ready to step up into an L4 role. The position combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, network design input, service ownership, and project delivery.

In this role you would be working within a specialist team, you'll play a key role in maintaining, improving, and evolving enterprise network services while acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as the highest technical escalation point for complex network incidents
• Delivering network deployment, migration, and implementation projects
• Supporting and improving operational network services
• Contributing to network design, architecture reviews, and technical governance
• Driving service improvement and automation initiatives
• Mentoring and supporting engineers across the wider team
• Working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technology partners

Key Technologies:

• Fortinet SD-WAN
• Cisco Wireless
• Netskope Remote Access
• VMware NSX-T
• Enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure
• VPN and secure connectivity solutions

Experience with every technology listed is not essential. The organisation is far more interested in engineers with strong networking fundamentals, delivery experience, and service ownership than candidates who specialise in a single vendor technology.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience across LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN technologies
• SD-WAN experience, ideally Fortinet
• Network deployment, implementation, and migration experience
• Operational service ownership within complex environments
• Advanced troubleshooting and major incident management capability
• Experience operating as a senior technical escalation point
• Exposure to network design, architecture, or technical leadership responsibilities
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
• Strong stakeholder and customer communication skills
