Make a difference. As a Senior Network Services Specialist, you will maintain a highly technical inter-network of computing systems that require 24x7 operation environment. In this role you will: Design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise firewall platforms. Design and support secure B2B connectivity solutions for customers, vendors, suppliers, subsidiaries, and business partners. Engineer and support secure remote access solutions for employees, contractors, and external partners. Administer and support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Client Connector environments. Support enterprise security architecture and infrastructure security initiatives. Develop standardized troubleshooting methodologies that consistently result in timely resolution of system issues. Plan, develop, and lead systems-related projects. Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards. Mentor and support junior members of staff. Plan hardware and software procurement, licensing, installation, configuration, and upgrades that require the acquisition of customer acceptance. Develop processes and procedures to ensure a stable computing environment. Develop and maintain standardized data security protection procedures. Discover and evaluate new cost-effective technologies. What you bring to the table: Minimum 3 years of experience in a large enterprise architecture, engineering, and support of LAN/WAN and voice networks required; 4+ years experience preferred 2year degree required: Technical training in IT related discipline or equivalent experience; 4 year degree with a major or minor in a Computer Science field preferred Proficient in: Network technologies (OSI Model) (TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, HTTP, OSPF, etc.) Network services (DHCP, DNS, FTP, etc.) Network applications (voice, E-mail, VPN, firewall, etc.) Network physical layer (routers, switches, T1, DS3, and ethernet) Enterprise system management (system configuration, monitoring, and reporting) Additional Skills: Problem solving skills Organizational and project management skills with limited supervision Oral and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information to others Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization Competence researching technical issues using various resources Ability to work in a team-based environment Ability to lift 50 pounds Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $85,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional Information: This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement. Team members are required to be onsite at our Chesterfield, MO office one day every other week.
