Senior Network Specialist

About the Assignment

Our client is a global organization with more than 200 IT specialists across the world, all working with the same goal to meet the requirements of the business ambitions.

You will be part of the local infrastructure team in Hørsholm, Denmark, consisting of highly skilled and engaged colleagues across all disciplines for IT infrastructure. The team covers all aspects of the infrastructure including servers, network, and cloud, and values working together across functional and regional boundaries to share knowledge, deliver on time and contribute to the growth of the company and the team.

The team is responsible for the operation and improvement of the IT infrastructure on more than 100 sites around the world, including factories operating 24/7.

You will work directly with Line of Business, helping understand their needs and translate into IT deliverables. You will be involved in many projects for the continued renewal of the global infrastructure, expansion into new areas and disciplines, and will be able to make a true impact helping create and operate solid, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions meeting future goals.

Technical Expertise

We are looking for a candidate with a general knowledge of modern network technologies and platforms, with particular focus on one or more of following areas:

• Aruba: switching (Mainly Aruba CX)

• Cisco: switching, routing, ISE, Firewall, Wifi

• Meraki: SD-WAN and Meraki Wifi

• Tools: Netbox, Zabbix, Aruba Central, rConfig

• Azure Cloud Networking: vWAN hubs, vNet, Private DNS

Your Primary Tasks Will Be

• Participate and execute in global projects

• Translate LoB requirements to technical solution fitting standards

• Be a key player in daily network operations, supporting teams across Europe, North America, and Asia

• Maintain and operate the global network infrastructure

• Create and maintain documentation

Your Personal Profile

• You hold either a HPE Aruba Networking Certified Professional Datacenter or Switching certification, or a CCNP Enterprise, or have equivalent skills.

• You are hands-on and can get things done in a consistent and supportable manner

• You are Self-motivated, flexible, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• You are a team player, open to feedback and able to give feedback that is honest, helpful and kind

• You work highly structured and use documentation as a natural part of the process

• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
