We are seeking a highly skilled Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer to join our client, an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm, driving mission-critical container platform operations. In this role, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of building, securing, and scaling enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift environments while pioneering advanced networking architectures using Cilium and eBPF. You will bridge complex infrastructure challenges with operational reliability, delivering observable, high-availability platform foundations for critical business applications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Taking end-to-end architectural ownership of designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes container platforms across dev, test, and production environments.
• Implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced container networking solutions, including Kubernetes CNI frameworks, OVN-Kubernetes, ingress/egress controls, and service connectivity.
• Deploying, configuring, and supporting Cilium and Isovalent Enterprise for Cilium to enable secure, observable, and scalable Kubernetes networking.
• Leveraging eBPF technologies to enhance platform security, observability, network policies, and real-time performance monitoring.
• Developing robust automation solutions for platform provisioning, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Enforcing security best practices, driving incident resolution for complex production issues, and establishing operational standards and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of solid commercial experience managing Kubernetes-based container platforms at enterprise scale.
• Deep hands-on background in Red Hat OpenShift administration and platform engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes internals, cluster operations, and high-availability design.
• Consultant mindset: ability to lead technical discussions, translate complex networking requirements into robust platform solutions, and collaborate effectively with distributed application and security teams.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and Linux system administration.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of hands-on platform engineering experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Proven expertise in advanced container networking (CNI, OVN-Kubernetes, network policies, service mesh).
• Strong hands-on implementation experience with Cilium and Isovalent Enterprise for Cilium.
• Deep architectural understanding and operational deployment experience with eBPF.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and Infrastructure as Code automation.
• Fluent English for daily international collaboration.
