Senior Client Operations Specialist – Nordic Markets

Location: Luxembourg | Permanent contract | Full-time | Hybrid working

Our client is an established international life insurance provider offering sophisticated wealth and capitalisation solutions to a European client base. As part of its continued development, the company is looking for an experienced operations professional to support its Nordic markets.

You will join a client and partner services team and manage complex life insurance operations while delivering a high standard of service to institutional partners, financial intermediaries, asset managers and high-net-worth clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, partners, intermediaries and internal sales teams.
• Review client files in line with AML/KYC requirements, acceptance procedures and applicable regulations.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentation throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Manage life insurance contracts from onboarding to maturity, including administrative and financial transactions, amendments, premium monitoring and benefit payments.
• Process and validate transactions within delegated authority levels and internal risk guidelines.
• Coordinate account openings with custodian banks and implement instructions with asset managers.
• Prepare contractual documents and amendments and respond efficiently to operational queries.
• Handle complex or non-standard cases with sound judgement and pragmatic solutions.
• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Marketing and Operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Contribute to service quality and continuous process improvement.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in life insurance, wealth insurance, private banking or financial services.
• Native-level Finnish and fluent English; Norwegian, Swedish or another European language would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of life insurance products, AML/KYC obligations and related operational processes.
• Able to manage complex cases in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Independent, proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented.
