Opportunity Overview

Our client is a fast-growing, operations-led business scaling substantially over the coming years, and is investing heavily in AI-driven automation to remove manual, repetitive work across teams. They are looking for an operationally-minded hire who can act as a strong process pillar while the automation capability is built out. Role Description

In this role you will own and manage core operational processes and workflows across the business, keeping them running smoothly as the company scales. You will act as a dependable operational pillar, communicating status, blockers, and decisions clearly and concisely across teams. Alongside process ownership, you will identify, build, or manage simple AI-powered automations and dashboards, and understand how to connect them into wider systems and datasets. Clear thinking and communication are central to success here.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Ownership - Own and manage core operational processes and workflows across the business.
• Growth Support - Act as a strong operational pillar as the business scales rapidly.
• Clear Communication - Communicate process status, blockers, and decisions clearly and concisely across teams.
• Automation Building - Identify, build, or manage simple AI-powered automations and dashboards to reduce manual work.
• Systems Integration - Understand how to connect automations into wider software or datasets, using tools like N8N.

Minimum Qualifications

• English Fluency - Fluent, excellent written and spoken English is mandatory for this role.
• Clear Communication - Able to think and speak clearly and concisely, without rambling or repetition.
• Operational Mindset - Strong operational and process-management mindset, able to manage and explain a process.
• AI Experience - Evidence of using AI beyond basic chat tools, such as building automations or dashboards.
• Systems Awareness - Some understanding of connecting automations into a broader system or software.
• Logistics Interest - At least some interest in or prior exposure to logistics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Accountancy Qualification - Completed professional accountancy qualification, equivalent to UK CA or Management Accountancy.
• Technical Background - Computer engineering or technical background with strong commercial interest.
• Logistics Experience - Direct experience working within the logistics industry.
