Job Description:
DTN is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Partner Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution for our partner ecosystem, including technology alliances, resellers, system integrators (SIs), and strategic distribution partners.
In this highly visible role, you will work at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing to develop programs, content, and campaigns that transform partner relationships into measurable pipeline and revenue growth. You will own partner marketing initiatives from strategy through execution, including joint go-to-market planning, partner enablement, co-branded campaigns, and performance measurement.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution. You will bring strong relationship-building skills, a builder mentality, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives while collaborating effectively across internal teams and external partners.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Develop and execute integrated partner marketing strategies aligned with DTN's go-to-market priorities, partner tiers, and commercial objectives.
- Build joint go-to-market playbooks with strategic technology alliances and system integrator partners, including messaging frameworks, campaign briefs, and launch plans.
- Own the annual partner marketing calendar, coordinating co-branded campaigns, webinars, industry events, digital placements, and partner communications.
- Manage the partner marketing budget and Market Development Funds (MDF), including allocation, co-op fund administration, ROI measurement, and leadership reporting.
- Develop high-quality co-branded marketing and sales enablement materials, including solution briefs, competitive battlecards, joint case studies, email campaigns, social assets, and customer-facing integration stories.
- Build and maintain a partner enablement portal offering on-demand training, product updates, and sales resources while driving partner engagement and adoption.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to translate product releases, technical capabilities, and competitive positioning into compelling partner-ready messaging.
- Plan and execute joint demand generation programs, including digital campaigns, webinars, account-based marketing (ABM), trade show sponsorships, regional roadshows, and virtual events.
- Partner with alliance sales teams and DTN's field sales organization to align marketing activities with pipeline targets, accelerate deal velocity, and support revenue growth.
- Define, track, and report partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, presenting performance insights and recommendations to the VP of Product Marketing and Senior Director, Partnership Leader.
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison to the Channel & Alliances team, supporting partner recruitment, tiering, program benefits, and ecosystem growth.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to ensure accurate partner pipeline attribution, tracking, and reporting within Salesforce.
- Work closely with Demand Generation, Content, and Product Marketing to integrate partner initiatives into broader company campaigns.
- Lead partner communications, including monthly newsletters, product launch announcements, and executive briefings.
What You Will Bring to the Position
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 3 years in partner, channel, or alliance marketing.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling partner marketing programs that generate measurable pipeline within a $100M+ B2B software or data business.
- Strong understanding of partner and channel ecosystems, including resellers, value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, global system integrators (GSIs), and technology alliances.
- Experience developing SaaS partner ecosystems, including relationships with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other major technology partners, as well as migration-focused marketing campaigns.
- Proven experience managing Market Development Funds (MDF), including budgeting, co-op fund administration, and ROI measurement.
- Excellent written communication and content development skills, with experience creating compelling co-branded marketing materials and partner-facing collateral.
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce for pipeline management, HubSpot for campaign execution, and partner portal platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including dashboard development, funnel analysis, pipeline attribution, and communicating performance insights to senior leadership.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to connect partner marketing initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
- A builder mentality, with the ability to create structure, develop processes, and execute effectively in a high-growth environment.
- Exceptional collaboration, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish strong partnerships across internal teams and external organizations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, execute with urgency, and consistently deliver on commitments.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with a commitment to accurate reporting and continuous program improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience in B2B data, analytics, agriculture technology, energy, or supply chain industries.
- Familiarity with cloud marketplace co-selling programs involving AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience marketing AI/ML-enabled products and translating technical capabilities into compelling partner-facing messaging.
- Experience working within an organization scaling from $200M to $500M+ in annual revenue.
