Senior Payroll Accountant

As a Payroll Accountant at Ecommpay, you'll make sure that all our employees are paid correctly and on time. You'll handle the full payroll cycle, from salary calculations and benefits to tax reporting and statutory submissions, keeping everything in line with legislation and employment contracts.

This role suits an experienced payroll professional who knows accounting, tax and labour law well and works comfortably in a fast-moving environment. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, answer their pay questions with care, and help keep a growing fintech running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you will do:

• Conduct full cycle of salary calculation for around 300 employees, in line with current legislation and individual employment contracts

• Manage additional employee benefits, bonuses and leave

• Provide accounting reports, tax reports and labour statistics reports on time

• Enter information about the personnel remuneration and other data into accounting program; process and control documentation

• Act as the go-to contact for employees with salary questions, giving clear and timely support

What we are looking for:

• +3 years proven experience in bookkeeping, experience in payroll accounting

• Good understanding of regulations in the field of accounting, taxation and labour law

• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, experience with 1C8 software will be considered as advantage)

• Accuracy, attentiveness, high sense of responsibility, punctuality

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment while processing data from multiple sources

• Interpersonal skills and readiness to cooperate with colleagues

• Good knowledge of English and Latvian

Salary range: 2000-2800 EUR/Gross per month
