JOB PURPOSE
We are building one place for all our People data, with the same rules for everyone, so leaders can decide based on facts. Our company standard is Microsoft Fabric for data and Power BI for dashboards. You will own People data on the business side: you turn questions from division presidents and P&C into data products that work. You will work closely with our IT/BI team, who own the platform and the data pipelines.
This is a hands-on role. You will build in Power BI yourself. You will also bring order to a complex environment: run meetings, ask the right questions, propose changes and keep projects moving.
P&C Intelligence is a small team that covers People reporting, workforce planning, people cost and organisational health. You will join the Director and one analyst, and work with IT/BI, P&C Digitalisation, Finance & Controlling, HR People Partners and business leaders across divisions.
MAIN DUTIES
- Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business leaders and P&C.
- Run requirements sessions with business and P&C stakeholders and turn their questions into clear specifications.
- Lead the business side of the move of People data from SAP BW to Microsoft Fabric: inventory, prioritisation, data mapping and testing, together with IT/BI.
- Define, with the team, the target People data model, KPI definitions and a shared glossary.
- Set up access rules and security for sensitive People data in Power BI.
- Plan and track the work: backlog, priorities, status updates and decisions.
- Help bring new data sources into one model over time, such as SuccessFactors and Power Apps.
REQUIREMENTS
- Several years of hands-on experience building Power BI solutions end to end, including semantic models, DAX and row-level security. 5 minimum years
- Strong SQL and a solid understanding of dimensional data modelling.
- Proven experience leading data or BI projects with several stakeholders, from requirements to go-live.
- Experience with People/HR data, or with HR or ERP data that has history and effective dates.
- Experience handling sensitive or personal data with care.
- Clear communication: you can explain technical topics to non-technical people and present them to senior leaders.
- Fluent English (C1 or above), able to facilitate workshops and present to executives.
- A structured and pragmatic way of working: you deliver step by step and keep things simple.
- Nice to have: SAP HCM, SAP BW or SuccessFactors; Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse, warehouse); experience in a multinational or matrix organisation.
