You've mastered the hands-on side of performance marketing.
You can get into Google or Meta, interrogate an account and quickly work out what's happening. You don't just know that CPA increased or trial-to-paid conversion dropped. You want to understand why, form a hypothesis, test it and turn what you learn into growth.
Now you want more ownership.
More influence. A bigger challenge. And the opportunity to help build something rather than simply inherit somebody else's playbook.
FishAngler, an AI-powered fishing app with millions of downloads and a loyal, highly engaged community of anglers across the US, is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to help lead our next stage of growth.
You'll take ownership of our paid acquisition budget across Google and Meta, with investment expected to grow as the business scales.
But this isn't about keeping the existing machine running.
You'll have the freedom to question it.
We have an established user base, years of engagement data and a loyal community, but also significant opportunity to improve account structure, tracking, creative testing, app store campaigns, and how we use data to make decisions.
One of your biggest challenges will be taking an app that has successfully acquired within its core, highly engaged angler audience and helping us reach a much broader outdoor and recreational fishing market.
At the same time, we run on a subscription (VIP) model, so you'll be thinking beyond today's install. New user acquisition, trial-to-paid conversion, retention and the quality of growth all matter to us.
You'll work directly with our leadership team in a small, close-knit setup, but we aren't looking for someone who simply executes ideas.
We want a sparring partner.
Someone who brings their own perspective, challenges assumptions and can say, "This isn't working. Here's why I think that is, and here's what we should test next."
You'll need to be genuinely hands-on and technically strong across both Google Ads and Meta, with experience managing budgets in a mobile app, subscription, or consumer tech environment.
Fishing or outdoor/sports experience would be brilliant, but it isn't essential. Experience with subscription apps, gaming, fitness, or other consumer mobile products with a recurring revenue model could be just as relevant.
And there's real room to grow this role.
As we grow our subscriber base, there's opportunity to deepen performance across platforms, audiences, and campaign types, and to take what works today and build a stronger, more data-led performance engine for the years ahead — with the scope to grow alongside us.
So if you still love getting into the detail, but you're ready for more ownership and the chance to shape performance marketing at a growing, product-led app, we should talk.
Skip the generic cover letter. Just send your CV or Resume and tell us about one campaign you're genuinely proud of — what you were trying to solve, the budget, and what you'd do differently next time.
