About the Role
We are looking for Wellwork Theme Lead to join CCAT Base Management Team. This is a high-impact leadership roles focused on maximizing production performance, driving well interventions, and integrating reservoir, surveillance, production, and well management activities across the asset.
Working alongside Petroleum Engineers, Reservoir Engineers, Completions & Interventions Engineers, Operations teams, and global technical specialists, you will lead the regional base management strategies respectively, ensuring delivery of production targets, portfolio value, and long-term reservoir performance.
The team is agile, action-oriented, and focused on solving complex production challenges through collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. This posting targets to hire into two different roles which are Well Management Theme Lead and Wellwork Theme lead roles.
What You'll Do
Develop and steward annual and long-term wellwork strategies aligned with production commitments and business priorities.
Own the regional wellwork portfolio, ensuring delivery of production gains, rate protection activities, and value-creating interventions.
Maintain a balanced pipeline of intervention, surveillance, and technology-enabled opportunities.
Drive opportunities from identification through technical evaluation, prioritization, scheduling, execution, and post-job review.
Monitor portfolio delivery, performance, risks, dependencies, and emerging opportunities.
Identify execution barriers and coordinate timely resolution across technical and operational teams.
Champion the Well Intervention Common Process and promote consistent, risk-based decision making.
Ensure portfolio systems and wellwork data remain accurate and up to date.
Build strong partnerships across Subsurface, Wells, Production, Operations, and Area Development teams.
Connect regional challenges with global technical experts, technology providers, and specialist teams.
Lead technology assessments, pilots, and field trials aimed at improving well performance and intervention outcomes.
Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and post-activity reviews.
Provide concise, evidence-based updates to leadership on portfolio health, delivery performance, risks, and recovery plans.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Postgraduate Degree or MSc in Petroleum Engineering.
Strong track record of safety and environmental leadership.
Significant experience in well management, surveillance, production optimization, and well intervention planning.
Knowledge of surveillance and diagnostic tools such as IAM, PTA, and ideally DTS.
Experience with Production Management workflows, including:
Production Capacity Management
Production Vulnerability Management
Well Intervention Common Process
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical projects and influence stakeholders.
Strong coaching, mentoring, and capability development skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent English.
Proven track record of delivery and performance management.
Strong understanding of budgeting, business planning, and value-based decision making.
Continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to challenge established practices.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and integrating diverse technical disciplines.
Exposure to technology deployment, production enhancement studies, and field trials.
