Senior PHP Developer with Yii2 and Symfony - Public Sector (f/m/x)

Join the project implemented for a public sector institution supporting entrepreneurship development in Poland. As a Senior PHP Developer (f/m/x), you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications, creating technical documentation, and improving the software development process. You will also have a real impact on the tools and technical solutions used and participate in working group meetings related to project implementation and development. The position assumes hybrid work. The office is located in Warsaw.

Your tasks

• Development and maintenance of software based on PHP, Yii2, and Symfony
• Designing and implementing new functionalities and developing existing applications
• Creating and updating technical documentation
• Analyzing the current software development process and proposing improvements
• Recommending and implementing new tools to support the development process
• Ensuring the quality, performance, and maintainability of developed solutions
• Technical consultations during working group meetings related to ongoing projects
• Collaboration with the project team and stakeholders in the development of systems
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in PHP programming
• At least 5 years of experience working with the Yii2 framework and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Symfony 4+
• Good knowledge of GitLab CI and code analysis in CI
• 2 years of experience or participation in 2 projects related to building web applications for handling funding applications
• Experience in developing and maintaining complex business applications
• Ability to create and update technical documentation
• Previous work in analyzing and improving the software development process
• Ability to propose appropriate tools and technical solutions
• Fluent knowledge of Polish
• Residence in Poland
