Purpose of Role/Summary: The PHP Laravel Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining back-end solutions that power web-based platforms (websites, CRM systems) and mobile applications. You will develop APIs, manage data flows, and collaborate closely with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performing applications. This role requires a hands-on developer with strong technical expertise in Laravel and PHP, combined with a passion for clean code, scalability, and performance. You will troubleshoot and optimize applications, maintain databases, and contribute to delivering innovative and user-centric solutions within an Agile environment. Main Activities and Responsibilities: Develop, document, and maintain advanced web-based applications and backend systems Build innovative, secure, and scalable solutions in collaboration with UX and front-end teams Prepare, integrate, and maintain APIs and ensure effective communication between systems Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed, security, and scalability Participate actively in the application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance Test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and reliability Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure timely and effective delivery Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices Contribute to process improvements and advocate for best coding standards Perform other duties relevant to the role as assigned Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, coding bootcamp, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of hands-on experience as a PHP Laravel developer. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles. Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL). Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Practical knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, Node.js, and jQuery. Experience with Laravel, PHP, API integration, and unit testing. Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills. Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of MetaTrader 4/5 platforms and APIs is a plus.
