💰 Salary: £65,000–£75,000 + Benefits

NTech is working with a leading infrastructure services organisation looking to appoint an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to support the design, delivery and transformation of modern datacentre and hybrid cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong infrastructure professional to take a senior role across enterprise platforms, providing technical leadership and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
• Lead the development and operation of VMware, Hyper-V and KVM virtualisation platforms.
• Design and develop Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep and Ansible.
• Drive automation, orchestration and workload optimisation.
• Design compute, storage and software-defined networking solutions.
• Support Kubernetes, AKS and container platforms.
• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs).
• Provide technical leadership, governance and mentoring.
• Contribute to major infrastructure transformation programmes and customer solutions.

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer with strong platform engineering and technical architecture capabilities, including:

• Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
• VMware vSphere and vSAN.
• Microsoft Hyper-V and KVM/Linux virtualisation.
• Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Cloud, Azure Arc and Azure Local.
• Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
• Compute, storage, SAN and NAS technologies.
• PowerShell, Python and infrastructure automation.
• Terraform, Bicep and Ansible.
• Kubernetes, AKS and container technologies.
• Infrastructure security and Zero Trust principles.
• Datacentre design, hosting environments and technical design governance.
