About the role We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer who is passionate about designing resilient systems, streamlining workflows, and driving the future of how we build and ship quality features at Blaze. As a Platform Engineer at Blaze, you’ll help design the systems that power everything we build. From automating deployments to scaling our cloud infrastructure, you’ll be the force that keeps our team moving fast without breaking things. This is a hands-on role where your work will have an immediate impact: faster releases, smoother collaboration, and a product that can grow as quickly as our ambitions. Specifically you'll: Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure that supports rapid product development and high availability Automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes to increase efficiency, reliability, and speed of delivery Collaborate closely with engineering teammates to optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth, secure releases Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, driving root cause analysis and long-term fixes About you At Blaze, how we work is as important as what we build. Experiences that set you apart: You have 5+ years in devops, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or similar) and a knack for making it simple and scalable Strong scripting and automation chops (Python, Bash, Terraform, or whatever tool gets the job done) A builder’s mindset — you like to experiment, move quickly, and improve things without waiting for red tape Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a passion for keeping deploys smooth, fast, and low-drama Skills that make you extraordinary: Deeply committed to crafting high-quality, “wow”-worthy user experiences.
