Senior Platform Engineer

ABOUT THIS ROLE As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our data scraping infrastructure, helping to maintain and extend the ecosystem that powers Wonderflow's global data collection — from searching and crawling to parsing and processing. You will collaborate on solutions for performance-critical challenges like parallelism and scalability, build and maintain our monitoring and observability systems, and provide technical leadership to the team. You'll be a reference point for architectural decisions and a technical mentor your teammates can rely on. You will also be involved in: Maintaining and extending our web scraping pipeline and automation systems Improving observability and monitoring systems to keep our data collection healthy Technical mentoring and code reviews that elevate team quality Account management tooling and operational infrastructure Shaping decisions on how to build systems that enable the team to move faster and smarter ABOUT THE TEAM Working at Wonderflow means working as a team with values that embody collaboration, perseverance and success. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR Significant experience building and scaling web applications and data systems in production Strong proficiency with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) Track record of designing and owning complex systems end-to-end Experience building APIs, monitoring systems, and operational tooling Comfort with both full-stack development and infrastructure thinking Track record of mentoring junior engineers and improving code quality through technical leadership Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex distributed issues Clear communication and the ability to explain technical decisions to the team DESIRABLE Understanding of and experience with web scraping and its related challenges Experience with network and proxy management Familiarity with browser automation tools (Puppeteer or similar) WHAT DO WE OFFER Inspiring culture: Ambitious, Hungry, Supportive.
