Senior PLM Specialist

🚀 #Hiring | CONTACT CDB / PLM Specialist | Remote

We are currently looking for a Senior PLM Specialist with strong hands-on experience in CONTACT CIM Database (CDB) / CONTACT Elements for a project in the automotive sector.

📍 Remote | German & English

What you’ll be working on:

• Operation, administration and maintenance of the existing CONTACT CDB / PLM environment

• Ensuring stable and high-performing PLM operations

• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Further development and optimization of PLM processes and data structures

• Product Data Management (PDM) across the entire product lifecycle

• Integration of PLM with ERP, CAD and document management systems

• Support with system upgrades, migrations and releases

• Customizing, configuration and administration within the CDB environment

• Ensuring data quality, consistency and governance

• Technical documentation and support in introducing new PLM functionalities and processes

What we’re looking for:

✓ Around 10+ years of experience in PLM

✓ Strong practical experience with CONTACT CDB / CONTACT Elements

✓ Solid knowledge of PLM system operation, administration and maintenance

✓ Experience with PDM and complex engineering data

✓ Good understanding of end-to-end PLM processes

✓ Experience with PLM / ERP / CAD integrations

✓ Knowledge of data modelling and PLM data structures

✓ Experience with system upgrades, migrations and release changes

✓ Very good German and English

Nice to have:

• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience

• SAP integration experience

• CAD integrations such as Creo, CATIA, NX or SolidWorks

• Python or SQL knowledge

• Variant and BOM management experience

• Experience with cloud/hybrid engineering environments

⏳ Duration: 50 project days

🕐 Workload: 2 days/week
