Senior Power BI & Portfolio Analytics Consultant – Power BI, SAP LeanIX & Portfolio Reporting – 10 Months in Copenhagen/Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Consultant to support the development of reporting and KPI solutions for digital technology portfolio management.

The role will leverage data from SAP LeanIX, the ATP Data Mart, and other enterprise data sources to deliver actionable insights across technology portfolios. The consultant will play a key role in designing user-friendly dashboards, developing scalable semantic models, and translating complex data into meaningful decision support for architects, product leaders, and technology stakeholders.

By combining strong Power BI expertise with business understanding, the consultant will help accelerate reporting delivery, increase data transparency, and strengthen fact-based portfolio, cost, and risk management.

Tasks and responsibilities

The consultant will design, develop and deliver Power BI reports and KPIs for digital technology portfolios: Business Applications, OT Applications, Products, IT Components and AI Assets. The work is based on the ATP Data Mart and an existing catalogue of reporting use cases.

• Build reports and KPIs with a strong focus on UI/UX, usability and clear decision support.
• Design and optimise semantic models (star schema, DAX, Power Query, incremental refresh) for performance and scalability.
• Structure and enhance the ATP Data Mart together with data platform engineers, including data quality views.
• Connect to and orchestrate data from diverse sources (databases, cloud warehouses, flat files, APIs); configure connections, credentials, gateways, and manage scheduled refreshes.
• Engage stakeholders (architects, product leadership, platform leaders) to clarify and prioritise their requirements for data-driven portfolio management.
• Document solutions and knowledge transfer/hand-over.

Requirements

• Senior-level, hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade Power BI solutions.
• Expert DAX, Power Query (M) and tabular modelling, including performance tuning with tools such as DAX Studio and Tabular Editor.
• Excellent visual design sense and storytelling ability. Proven skills in report UI/UX design.
• Strong data preparation and transformation capabilities, mastery of Power Query and SQL.
• Proven ability to connect to and validate data from multiple sources and build reliable data pipelines for reporting.
• Experience gathering requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI-driven report generation and MCP servers. This is an advantage.
• Knowledge of architecture or technology portfolio management, such as SAP LeanIX, lifecycle, cost and criticality concepts. This is an advantage.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Practical Information

• Duration: 30 November 2026 to 30 September 2027.
• Working hours: 37 hours per week.
• Work setup: Hybrid setup with minimum 3 days onsite per week.
• The consultant must be based in Denmark.
