Who We Are:

Crafty elevates workplace food and beverage programs with enhanced services managed in one innovative, centralized platform. Founded in 2015, our mission is to help companies craft better workplaces. From DraftKings to Robinhood to Zillow, we work with the world's biggest brands to foster a culture of employee connectivity and productivity. Headquartered in Chicago, with offices in New York and the Bay Area, Crafty manages food and beverage programs across 300+ offices, serving more than 300,000 employees per month.

Our commitment to crafting better workplaces starts from within. We are a team of passionate, resourceful, and hard-working trailblazers who love what we do. Our expertise spans technology, food and beverage operations, client success, fulfillment and more. At Crafty, our people are our greatest asset, because it's our people who foster a culture that makes our company a place worth being part of. And of course, the snacks are the cherry on top!

The Role

This role is at the core of Crafty's value "We Are a Team". We're looking for a seasoned pricing analyst with strong business acumen to partner closely with leadership, our client-facing teams, sales, rev ops, and our partner team to shape and implement pricing strategies across the business.

At Crafty we believe projects come to an end when their impact is fully realized. Beyond building models and analysis, you'll help put pricing decisions into practice. You'll support client conversations, measure how each pricing change performs after launch, and proactively find the next opportunity. We believe feedback and iteration are key to success, and this role will help build the foundation of Crafty's long-term pricing strategy.

If you're energized by the idea of doing meaningful, high-impact work on a small and talented team, then this is the role for you.

Required Attributes

  • Pricing & Profitability Acumen – You understand what drives profitability in a business and can connect pricing decisions to margin, revenue, and client outcomes. You think and plan strategically across all components of the business including product, delivery, service and equipment fees.
  • Pricing Performance & Market Insight – You lead the build of dashboards and models that measure how pricing changes perform over time, including price realization, margin, and client impact. You use those results to recommend adjustments. You also bring an outside-in view by layering competitive and market intelligence into our data, so our pricing reflects where Crafty stands in each market.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Enablement – You’re a responsive, trusted partner to client-facing teams, Sales, RevOps, and market leadership. You know when to roll up your sleeves and solve a specific problem - and when to turn that work into a reusable framework. You build practical templates, guidance, and financial literacy training that help teams answer common questions independently, while remaining a resource for more complex situations.
  • Modeling & Decision Support – You build flexible, well-documented models that turn complex pricing questions into clear options and recommendations. You’re comfortable working hands-on with renewals, price escalations, and deal exceptions: defining assumptions, stress-testing scenarios, and explaining the trade-offs. You prepare decision-makers to make a confident yes/no call rather than leaving them to develop the options themselves.
  • Exceptional Communication – You translate complex pricing analysis into clear, commercially grounded recommendations. You help teams refine client-facing deliverables and explain the “why” behind pricing decisions. You communicate pricing initiatives and related product changes proactively, ensuring teams understand what is changing, the margin implications, and how to discuss those changes confidently.
  • Hands-On Data Skills – You dig into the data yourself. You're comfortable writing SQL against our warehouse, working with transactional and order-level data, and bringing in new data sources when the question calls for it. You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and know how to find what you need, validate it, and keep work moving when things are ambiguous.

Ideal Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, FP&A, or analytics roles
  • Proven experience building pricing or financial models and evaluating pricing strategy trade-offs
  • Experience measuring pricing performance and identifying margin leakage, such as price realization, discount, or price waterfall analysis
  • Experience incorporating competitive or market data into pricing decisions
  • Strong technical skills in SQL (Snowflake preferred), Excel/Google Sheets modeling, and Tableau; familiarity with dbt is a plus
  • Experience supporting client-facing or sales teams on pricing, ideally in B2B, marketplace, or CPG business
  • Solid understanding of unit economics, margin analysis, and the drivers of profitability

Role Goals

  • Goal #1: Build the pricing model and measurement framework that power strategy decisions for our emerging markets.
    • By Q2 2027, co-develop Pricing Model v1 with partner team covering product and non-product pricing components, and establish guardrails and tooling to inform and monitor pricing changes at scale.
  • Goal #2: Be the go-to pricing partner for client-facing teams
    • Support account and sales teams on pricing questions and client scenario modeling, building reusable templates and guides so that by Q3 2027 at least 50% of common pricing questions can be answered by client-facing teams directly.
  • Goal #3 (AI): Use AI-assisted tools to scale pricing analysis and client support
    • Enhance our agent ecosystem so it can flag common pricing issues within our client’s product sets and offer alternative product sets to help proactively mitigate risk. By end of Q4 this should be rolled out to all client support team members.
