About Team Liquid

Team Liquid began as a StarCraft clan in 2000 and grew into a global esports and gaming organization. At our heart, we're still a community of people who love competitive gaming.

Our main quest is to forge a global fandom that celebrates creativity, mastery and kindness.

Across our teams, creators, content and Liquipedia, we bring people closer to the games they love. That takes colleagues with different skills, perspectives and backgrounds, working together across countries and disciplines.

Joining Team Liquid means helping shape what comes next. We value people who take ownership, stay curious and support those around them, and who care about how we succeed together.

About the Team

Liquid Media is a boutique creative marketing agency that builds brands through culture, creators, and community. We deliver measurable results across content and influencer marketing for partners including Riot Games, Alienware, Warner Bros, adidas, and SEGA, spanning gaming, sports, entertainment, and culture.

The Role

As the Senior Producer, you will lead a globally distributed team of production and creative professionals, overseeing creative quality, production rigor, and team performance across social, digital, and live platforms. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you will guide and develop Producers, lead complex productions, and ensure work is delivered to a consistently high standard.

You will work closely with Creative, Strategy, Editorial, Production, and Client Services to turn creative ideas into executable concepts, balance creative ambition with feasibility, budgets, timelines, and impact, and maintain quality across multiple campaigns and clients. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, bringing your own ideas, perspectives, and production expertise to elevate the work beyond the brief.

Location: Los Angeles, CA. Candidates must be available to work onsite at our office at least three days per week.

What You'll Own

  • Oversee production quality, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across assigned clients and projects.

  • Support the build-out of Liquid Media’s game capture, trailer, and post-production offering, from capture planning through edit, finishing, and delivery

  • Lead complex, high-impact productions end-to-end, setting standards for execution while balancing hands-on production leadership with team oversight.

  • Partner with Creative, Strategy and Editorial to shape and evaluate creative concepts, ensuring ideas are strategically sound, creatively compelling, and producible.

  • Drive creative development from a production perspective during pitches and early concepting.

  • Review work across projects to ensure it is on-brand, creatively compelling, and executed to a consistently high standard.

  • Production Management & Execution

    • Oversee production plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcing to ensure projects are feasible and efficiently executed.

    • Ensure creative concepts are aligned with production realities, timelines, and budget constraints.

    • Manage vendors, freelancers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution across projects.

    • Set and enforce production standards, workflows, and best practices across the team.

    • Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across multiple clients, campaigns, platforms, and production formats.

    • Anticipate production risks, gaps, and blockers and implement solutions proactively.

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Manage and develop 1–4 direct reports, providing clear guidance, feedback, and growth direction.

    • Set clear expectations for creative quality, production rigor, accountability, and individual performance.

    • Build a high-performing production team that operates with ownership and delivers without surprises.

    • Provide hands-on leadership during complex and high-pressure productions.

    • Foster strong collaboration across Production, Creative, Strategy, Editorial, and Client Services.

  • Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Serve as a senior production voice in client conversations when needed, representing Liquid Media with professionalism, confidence, and sound judgment.

    • Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Editorial, Production, and Client Services from pitch through delivery.

    • Translate creative ambition into clear and executable production approaches.

    • Build trust across internal teams, clients, vendors, freelancers, and other production partners.

    • Provide clear and proactive communication around production decisions, risks, timelines, and trade-offs.

  • Budget & Resource Management

    • Manage production budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across assigned projects, ensuring spending aligns with approved plans.

    • Balance creative ambition with budget, timeline, and resource realities.

    • Identify production efficiencies while maintaining a high standard of creative execution.

AI Fluency at Team Liquid

Using AI thoughtfully is an expectation across Team Liquid, including in non-technical roles. We’re looking for people who explore how these tools can improve their work, test ideas and share what they learn with their teams.

In this role, that could include:

  • Using approved AI tools to support production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budget tracking, and project communications.

  • Leveraging AI to streamline pre-production and post-production workflows, including initial drafts of briefs, shot lists, capture plans, transcripts, captions, and content versioning.

  • Applying AI responsibly across client projects by checking client-specific AI policies, protecting confidential information, and ensuring creative decisions and final deliverables receive appropriate human review.

You don’t need to be an AI expert on day one. We do expect a willingness to learn, experiment and build confidence. Just as important is knowing how to check outputs, protect confidential information and recognize when human judgment is essential.

What You Bring

You have:

  • 5–8 years of experience in production roles within an agency, media, gaming, or live-event environment.

  • Proven experience leading complex, high-visibility productions and campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of multi-platform content production, including live, digital, and social content.

  • Demonstrated ability to shape and evaluate creative concepts for feasibility and impact.

  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, framing, and visual composition across platforms.

  • Strong financial understanding and experience managing production budgets, forecasting costs, planning resources, and overseeing production schedules.

  • Experience managing and developing team members.

  • Familiarity with production software and tools, including project management platforms, Adobe Suite, and asset-tracking systems.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide teams and make confident decisions.

  • High level of accountability for both team output and individual performance.

  • Clear and proactive communicator across internal teams, clients, vendors, and external partners.

  • Solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving instincts and the ability to anticipate challenges.

  • Ability to maintain creative and production rigor under pressure.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust across creative, strategy, production, and client teams.

  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve production workflows, with an understanding of their limitations, confidentiality requirements, and the importance of human oversight.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and irregular hours, based on client deadlines, live events, and production needs.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% for client projects and production needs.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience producing game capture, gameplay trailers, or post-production pipelines

  • Experience working with gaming and entertainment brands, publishers, or creative agencies.

  • Experience managing productions across globally distributed teams.

Our Values in Action

  • Integrity: We do the right thing, even when it isn't easy or convenient.

  • Humility: Empathy, listening, and respect matter more than being right.

  • Pursuing Excellence: We treat self-improvement as a never-ending journey, not a destination.

  • Curiosity: We have an insatiable thirst to understand ourselves and the world, including the new tools reshaping how we work. This is where our AI Fluency expectation comes from — we believe curious people build the future faster.

  • Authenticity: We welcome who you are, as you are. There's no pressure to fit in.

  • Inclusivity: We work to be an equalizing force that humanizes differences and builds safer communities.

Life at Team Liquid

Across every Team Liquid office, you'll get:

  • Game Day, once a quarter, where the whole office pauses to play games together and enjoy some friendly competition.

  • In-house chefs at every facility, serving two meals a day.

  • Three extra global holidays, one for each continent we operate on, celebrating our global presence.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

We're looking for people who are genuinely excited to build this with us, not just fill a seat.

If you need a reasonable accommodation at any point in the application or interview process, reach out to HR@teamliquid.com. We'll work with you to make it right.

Salary Range (U.S.-based role):
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000–$95,000.

Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, education, internal equity, and geographic location, where applicable and permitted by law.
