Senior Product Designer @ OxiWorks
Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands (Hybrid) · Type: Full-time (Permanent) · Salary: Competitive & Benefits · Reports to: Design Manager / Lead Designer
Role Summary
You’ll lead end-to-end design on client engagements across web and native iOS/Android, owning problems from discovery to shipped product.
You’ll be an approachable, trusted design voice with client product teams, set the bar for craft and help shape how OxiWorks uses best in class product design across projects.
What you’ll do
- Lead design on multiple client accounts at a time, from framing the problem through to delivery and post-launch iteration
- Design native mobile experiences that respect iOS and Android platform conventions, gestures and accessibility
- Run workshops and innovation sprints with client stakeholders
- Run and synthesise research outputs to validate designs (with support of User Research)
- Use AI tooling to accelerate the work: research synthesis, generating and stress-testing concepts, building coded prototypes and writing content and specs
- Work closely with our Design Engineer (Design Systems) so designs are built from, and feed back into client design systems
- Be a trusted, approachable partner to client teams: build strong relationships, keep stakeholders close to the work, and present design decisions clearly linking them to data and outcomes
- Mentor other designers on the team through pairing and feedback
- Design responsibly within regulation, from safer gambling requirements to healthcare data and accessibility standards
- Design for products where every moment counts - live sport and betting, media and streaming, eCommerce checkouts, health and fitness journeys - where speed and clarity move commercial metrics
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years in product design, with a portfolio showing shipped, end-to-end work and its measurable impact
- Strong native app experience - you’ve shipped iOS and/or Android products and know the platform guidelines well
- Expert Figma skills, including components, variables, Auto Layout and prototyping
- Hands-on, everyday use of AI in your design process, with a point of view on where it helps and where it doesn’t. For example: Figma’s AI features, Claude (or similar) and prototyping tools such as Lovable, Cursor or Claude Code
- Confidence working with design systems and with engineers on implementation
- Excellent client relationship skills: you’re approachable, a great listener and build trust quickly with stakeholders at every level, ideally from agency or consultancy work
- Clear communication: you can tell the story behind the work, in writing and in the room
Nice to have
- Experience in any of our sectors: sport and sports media, betting and gaming, eCommerce, tech, or healthcare and fitness
- Experience designing for kiosks, smart TV or other non-standard surfaces
- Basic front-end skills or experience shipping coded prototypes
- Experience with data-informed design: A/B testing, analytics and funnel optimisation
