About The Date Crew
The Date Crew (TDC) is a human-first matchmaking service combining personalised matchmaking, human expertise, and technology to help people find meaningful relationships.
We're building a business where the product is not just an app or a website. It's an end-to-end service experience, from the first interaction with a potential customer to onboarding, curated introductions, customer engagement, and long-term satisfaction.
We're looking for someone who can help us build a better product, grow revenue, delight customers, and make the business more efficient.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Product & Growth Manager who thinks like a product builder, operates like a business owner, and solves problems with a growth mindset.
You should have experience building products that solve real customer problems and translating those solutions into measurable business outcomes. You should understand how to acquire customers, improve conversion, generate revenue, drive adoption, and retain customers — not just in theory, but through experiments and execution.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked in high-ticket B2C businesses or small-ticket B2B markets, where revenue depends on understanding customer behaviour, building trust, improving conversion, and delivering a strong customer experience.
At TDC, you'll own initiatives across the entire business lifecycle: identifying new revenue opportunities, improving the customer journey, increasing product adoption, strengthening service retention, and optimising the processes that allow us to scale.
This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You'll work closely with the founders, product and engineering teams, and matchmaking operations to identify the highest-impact problems and take them from idea to measurable results.
We're not looking for someone who only identifies problems or writes requirements. We need someone who can solve them.
What You'll Own
1. Revenue Growth & Monetisation
-
Identify and execute opportunities to unlock new revenue streams and improve existing revenue channels.
-
Understand the business model, customer segments, willingness to pay, pricing, and purchase behaviour.
-
Identify bottlenecks across the funnel, from lead generation and qualification to sales conversion and payment.
-
Improve conversion through better product experiences, customer journeys, pricing experiments, and sales processes.
-
Work with the team to develop and validate new offerings, upsell opportunities, and monetisation strategies.
-
Build a clear understanding of revenue drivers, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and unit economics.
-
Run experiments to determine which initiatives produce sustainable revenue growth.
2. Product Development & Adoption
-
Own the product roadmap based on customer needs, business priorities, and measurable impact.
-
Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product opportunities, requirements, and executable solutions.
-
Work with engineering and design to ship features that improve customer outcomes and business performance.
-
Identify friction in onboarding, profile completion, discovery, introductions, scheduling, and other core customer journeys.
-
Drive product adoption by understanding why customers drop off, disengage, or fail to experience value.
-
Establish product metrics and feedback loops to understand feature usage, adoption, and effectiveness.
-
Balance speed of execution with reliability, usability, and long-term product quality.
3. Customer Delight & Service Retention
-
Understand the complete customer journey and identify opportunities to improve satisfaction at every stage.
-
Investigate why customers disengage, become dissatisfied, fail to complete onboarding, or choose not to continue.
-
Build interventions that improve engagement, perceived value, retention, and referrals.
-
Work closely with matchmaking and customer operations teams to turn recurring customer pain points into product or process improvements.
-
Design systems for gathering customer feedback and translating it into prioritised action.
-
Develop metrics that measure the quality of the service experience, not merely app activity.
-
Ensure the product and service consistently reflect TDC's human-first philosophy.
4. Process Optimisation & Operational Excellence
-
Map existing business processes and identify bottlenecks, unnecessary manual work, delays, and failure points.
-
Improve workflows across lead management, customer onboarding, matchmaker operations, introductions, scheduling, follow-ups, and customer support.
-
Use automation, product features, better tooling, and process redesign to reduce operational overhead.
-
Identify recurring problems that can be eliminated at the system level rather than solved manually each time.
-
Establish clear ownership, service-level expectations, dashboards, and escalation mechanisms for important workflows.
-
Work with operations teams to understand what actually happens on the ground before proposing solutions.
-
Measure the impact of process improvements through turnaround time, cost to serve, error rates, team productivity, and customer outcomes.
5. Experimentation, Analytics & Decision-Making
-
Build a metrics-driven approach to product and business decisions.
-
Identify the biggest constraints to growth and prioritise initiatives based on expected impact, effort, and strategic importance.
-
Design and run experiments across acquisition, conversion, onboarding, engagement, pricing, and retention.
-
Analyse customer behaviour, funnel performance, and operational data to uncover opportunities.
-
Distinguish between activity and outcomes: shipping a feature is not success unless it creates meaningful value.
-
Establish dashboards and reporting that give the team visibility into business performance.
-
Develop a disciplined approach to testing, learning, iterating, and scaling what works.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
-
3+ years of relevant experience in product management, growth, business operations, or a role combining these disciplines.
-
Experience building mobile apps and shipping products, features, or customer-facing solutions from problem discovery through execution and measurement.
-
Demonstrated experience solving growth or revenue problems with measurable business outcomes.
-
Experience in at least one of these environments:
-
High-ticket B2C: businesses where customer acquisition, trust, consultative selling, conversion, and customer experience significantly influence revenue.
-
Small-ticket B2B: businesses where efficient acquisition, activation, retention, recurring revenue, and scalable processes are essential.
-
Strong analytical ability and comfort working with funnels, conversion metrics, revenue data, and customer behaviour.
-
Experience collaborating with engineering, design, sales, marketing, or operations teams to deliver business outcomes.
-
Ability to identify problems independently, structure ambiguous situations, and execute without needing every step defined.
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams with different priorities.
-
A bias toward action, experimentation, and measurable impact.
Benefits
The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here
You will likely enjoy this role if:
-
You see a business problem and instinctively want to understand its root cause.
-
You can move between a revenue dashboard, a customer conversation, a product flow, and an operational process without losing sight of the bigger picture.
-
You care about commercial outcomes as much as product quality.
-
You are comfortable working with imperfect data and making thoughtful decisions under uncertainty.
-
You prefer shipping and learning over endless planning.
-
You understand that sometimes the best solution is a new feature, sometimes an automation, and sometimes simply a better process.
-
You can challenge existing assumptions, work directly with founders, and take responsibility for outcomes.
Why Join TDC?
-
Meaningful ownership: Work on problems that directly affect revenue, customers, and the business.
-
A broad mandate: Build products, solve growth challenges, and improve how the company operates.
-
Direct founder collaboration: Work closely with the people shaping the company's direction.
-
A human-first mission: Help build a service where technology and operational excellence support a deeply personal customer experience.
-
Room to build: Identify opportunities, test solutions, and turn successful ideas into lasting systems.
Budget : 1,30,000 - 1,80,000 per month in hand
We are particularly interested in people who can demonstrate how their work changed a business metric i.e. revenue, conversion, adoption, retention, or operational efficiency.
