Job Description
We’re hiring a dedicated product manager to own B2C ecommerce, conversion rate optimization and payments. You’ll shape our custom commerce platform and prioritize improvements to the business throughout the transition.
You’ll work directly with our head of tech, engineers, data engineer, finance, marketing and showroom operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Product roadmap: prioritize customer and business problems across discovery, ring configuration, appointments, cart, checkout and payments
Customer insight: combine customer conversations, showroom feedback, support issues and behavioral data to identify friction
CRO: develop hypotheses, select appropriate experiments and make rollout decisions from measured results
Full-funnel measurement: connect website behavior to online purchases, appointment bookings, attendance and subsequent showroom sales
Payments experience: improve payment completion, deposits, balance payments, refunds and recovery from failed payments
Provider evaluation: assess payment and financing options with finance, including cost, approval rates, fraud and operational effort
Delivery: write clear requirements and acceptance criteria, resolve scope decisions and coordinate business acceptance testing
Migration readiness: define essential launch capabilities, sequence releases and coordinate staff readiness with operations
Requirements and Experience:
B2C product ownership: a record of owning an ecommerce product or a substantial purchase funnel
CRO results: measurable improvements in conversion or purchase completion, with a clear explanation of how you assessed the result
Payments experience: direct work with checkout, payment providers, authorization rates, refunds or chargebacks
Analytical judgment: ability to define reliable metrics, interpret experiments and work with a data engineer to validate measurement
Commercial understanding: ability to assess conversion gains alongside margin, payment costs, cancellations and support burden
Technical fluency: comfort discussing APIs, integrations, data dependencies and release tradeoffs with engineers
Delivery ownership: ability to make prioritization decisions and stay involved through launch, measurement and iteration
High-consideration retail: jewelry, luxury, configurable products or other purchases involving a longer decision process
Connected channels: customer journeys spanning ecommerce and physical locations
Commerce migrations: replacing a live platform while maintaining day-to-day trading
Success in this role means more completed, profitable purchases across online and showroom channels, improved payment completion and a roadmap focused on the highest-value customer problems.
