Senior Product Manager
Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) | Boats Group (Miami, FL)
About the Role
Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) | Boats Group (Miami, FL)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a new, high-priority consumer product from first concept through launch and growth. You will define the experience, work in fast build-measure-learn cycles, and be accountable for volume and revenue.
You will sit in the C2C organization and partner daily with product, operations, and commercial teams across the business, including marketplace and app teams, buyer and seller product teams, financing, closing specialists, CRM, and ancillary services.
What You Will Do
Own the 0-1 launch and scale
- Take a new product from concept through launch and scale, owning the full customer journey.
- Run short cycles of build, release, measure, and iterate, with a bias toward shipping and learning over perfecting.
- Map the customer journey and decide where the experience should be self-serve, AI-assisted, or handled by a person.
- Design the experience to work across multiple web and mobile surfaces so it can be reused and extended.
Set direction and be held to results
- Work with the GM of C2C to set product vision, prioritize quarterly objectives, and agree on the key results you will be accountable for.
- Translate company objectives into opportunities and solutions using an Opportunity Solution Tree (OST), and keep the tree current as you learn.
- Make clear tradeoffs across competing demands from partner teams, and communicate them openly.
Discover and validate
- Run discovery, user research, and validation on every significant opportunity and solution before and after build.
- Design and read A/B tests and other experiments. Form hypotheses, define success metrics up front, and act on the results.
- Work closely with Design so research and data shape the experience.
Build with AI and agentic flows
- Decide where AI and agents belong in the customer flow and where human judgment is required.
- Define guardrails, escalation paths, and quality measures for AI-driven steps in a high-trust experience.
Design the operational layer
- Own the handoff points where a case moves from the product to an operations or specialist team. Define the triggers, playbooks, tooling, SLAs, and feedback loops.
- Use operational data to find what to automate next and to reduce cost to serve.
Run the product day to day
- Lead team ceremonies (planning, grooming, standups, retros, demos) and write clear, testable tickets and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the point of command for the squad: unblock the team, make timely decisions, and keep scope, risk, and dependencies visible.
- Communicate status, risks, and results clearly to leadership and to partner teams.
Drive decisions with data and finance
- Build and maintain quantitative models of funnel conversion, volume, revenue, and unit economics, with support from an analyst.
- Turn the data into hypotheses to test, and into business cases for investment decisions.
What You Bring
Required:
Required:
- Typically 6+ years in product management, including at least one 0-1 launch taken to scale.
- Experience building payments, marketplace, or checkout-style products with meaningful volume. Experience with high-consideration or high-value goods is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of AI and agentic design: you can describe where automation helps, where it fails, and how to build trust and fallback paths into a flow.
- Operational process experience. You have designed workflows where product hands off to an operations or support team, and you can specify those handoffs.
- Hands-on use of OST and continuous discovery, plus solid grounding in A/B testing, research, and validation.
- Strong quantitative and financial skills: comfortable building a model, reading a P&L, and defending a forecast. Fluent in BI tools, or willing to work closely with an analyst.
- Proven ability to run agile ceremonies and write clear tickets, specs, and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex tradeoffs plain to executives and engineers alike.
- A fast-moving, collaborative style, and a record of being a good teammate across functions.
Nice to have
- Experience with regulated or multi-party customer flows.
- Experience with CRM-driven workflows.
- Background in marketplace, marine, powersports, or automotive businesses.
- Experience with fraud, identity verification, and risk controls
