Senior Product Manager

Job Summary

Hexagon is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the strategy and commercial success of the Waygate video borescope portfolio. Within our Manufacturing Intelligence business area, Waygate's non-destructive testing solutions help industrial customers inspect critical assets and make confident decisions about quality, reliability and safety. In this role, you will translate customer needs, market insights and technology trends into a multi-year product roadmap, guide products throughout their lifecycle and work across functions to deliver profitable growth. This is a senior individual-contributor role with significant influence across engineering, sales, marketing, finance and operations.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute a multi-year product strategy and prioritised roadmap for video borescopes, aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Gather customer insights, competitive intelligence and market data to identify unmet needs, differentiated solutions and growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional product initiatives from concept and business case through development, launch, enhancement and end-of-life decisions.
  • Translate market requirements into clear product requirements, priorities and trade-offs in partnership with engineering and other technical teams.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans with sales and marketing, including positioning, channel enablement, pricing and commercial models.
  • Own portfolio business planning and performance, including revenue, margin, profitability and product investment recommendations.
  • Work with operations, quality, supply chain and service teams to support product availability, reliability and the customer experience.
  • Establish and monitor product and commercial KPIs; use performance data to recommend corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Build alignment across sales, engineering, legal, finance, marketing and operations, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in product management, engineering or technical commercial roles, including ownership of complex product or portfolio initiatives.

  • Experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, business cases and go-to-market plans for technical products.

  • Ability to evaluate product financial performance, pricing, market opportunities and commercial trade-offs using quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without relying on direct reporting authority.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills, including presenting recommendations to leadership.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites, internal facilities and industry events as business needs require.

Preferred

  • Experience with industrial inspection, video borescopes, remote visual inspection or non-destructive testing (NDT).

  • Experience serving customers in aerospace, energy, manufacturing or other asset-intensive industries.

  • Advanced degree in engineering, business or a related discipline.

  • Experience with CRM tools, product performance analytics, digital workflows or connected inspection solutions.

  • Experience working with international product development, channel or operations teams.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role combining remote work with scheduled on-site collaboration. The assigned office location, on-site schedule and travel frequency will be confirmed during recruitment. Work is primarily performed in an office or home-office environment using standard computer equipment, with periodic visits to industrial customer or company sites. Site visits may require adherence to local safety procedures and use of required personal protective equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform essential job functions.
