Senior Product Manager

Bokio is on a mission to make running a business in Sweden easy. We automate the financial side of it: accounting, payments, payroll and taxes. Our customers are plumbers, consultants, cafés and the accountants who keep them out of trouble. Nobody starts a company because they love bookkeeping, and our job is to make that part disappear.

A prototype, three versions of a screen, a year of data analysed is quicker than ever. Booking a transaction correctly, moving money, running a salary and filing a return are exactly as hard as they always were. Your job as a senior PM at Bokio is to bridge that gap and make sure we are building the right thing.

Domaine knowledge

You don't wait to be told what to work on. You find the problems worth solving, in the data, in customer conversations and in how the team works, and you come with a clear proposal rather than an open question. You own your area end to end, from spotting the opportunity to checking whether what shipped actually made a difference for the small businesses using Bokio. When something is heading the wrong way, you raise it early and help fix it.

You have domain knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Accounting, payroll, banking or invoicing.

Accounting, payroll and banking are full of details that decide whether something is genuinely useful or just looks it, and you only see them if you know the domain.

How we work

We care about what has changed for our customers and our business, not what is shipped. A cheap bet that does not work and gets stopped early is a good week at Bokio.

You set the problem, the metric and the risk. After that your trio gets on with it, without queuing for your approval.

You talk to customers every week, rotating between new businesses, growing ones, accounting agencies, and people who churned.

You define what has to be true before we build, then find the quickest way to find out if it is not. Learning what works and what doesn't is how we improve quickest.

You use AI for prototyping, evaluation and analysis, and are happy to make small changes in the product yourself.
