Senior Product Manager (AI, B2C, Hybrid, 30M JPY / annum)

An innovative technology company in Tokyo is looking for an experienced Product Manager to help build and evolve a new generation of AI-powered consumer products. The company is investing significantly in artificial intelligence and is developing products that combine advanced AI capabilities with intuitive user experiences. This is a strong opportunity for a Product Manager who wants to work more deeply with AI product development rather than simply integrating third-party tools.

The company offers a flexible hybrid working environment in Tokyo and a highly competitive compensation package of up to approximately ¥30M JPY depending on experience. It offers a hybrid work style of a couple days in office per week.

Position Description

You will take ownership of key AI-driven product experiences from concept through launch and ongoing improvement. The role involves defining product requirements, designing user interactions with AI systems, improving the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs, and working closely with technical teams to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical consumer features.

You will also help establish methods for evaluating product quality, experiment rapidly with new AI functionality, and contribute to decisions around how AI capabilities are incorporated into the broader product architecture.

This is a hands-on product role suited to someone comfortable working at the intersection of product management, user experience, and emerging AI technology.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally involving consumer-facing digital products

• Practical experience building or managing products that use generative AI or large language models

• Strong technical understanding and the ability to work closely with software engineers and technical teams

• Experience defining product requirements, evaluating product quality, and running iterative experiments

• Comfortable working in an international and bilingual environment

• Professional proficiency in English and Japanese
