Senior Product Manager — Alokai Cloud

About the Role

We're looking for someone to take ownership of the product side of Alokai Cloud. This person will drive the roadmap, prioritization, and cross-team alignment for Cloud, freeing up our current tech lead to focus on technical work rather than product management tasks.

Cloud is the primary focus of this role, but the person will also help out on the application side when product support is needed there — understanding the product broadly enough to connect Cloud priorities with what's happening elsewhere in the platform, and to pitch in on application-related product topics as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for Alokai Cloud (deployment, scaling, security, observability, cost management).
• Own roadmap, prioritization, and cross-team alignment for Cloud, working closely with the tech lead who will continue to focus on technical direction.
• Work closely with the application-side dev teams — understand their plans and dependencies well enough to avoid priority collisions and unnecessary surprises.
• Provide product support on application-side topics when needed, beyond the core Cloud scope.
• Gather and synthesize feedback from clients, partners, and internal teams (Sales, Customer Success) into concrete product requirements for Cloud.
• Define specs and acceptance criteria together with engineering.
• Support client-facing teams (Sales, CS) with Cloud product context in client conversations and technical evaluations.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the broader Alokai product ecosystem so Cloud decisions stay consistent with the rest of the platform.

Requirements

• Several years (min. 3–4) of experience as a DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer or a very similar role — this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have.
• Several years of experience as a Senior Product Manager (or above) in B2B SaaS products, ideally infrastructure/developer/hosting-related or ecommerce.
• Solid technical grounding: deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure), autoscaling, CDN/caching, security basics (WAF, compliance), monitoring/logging.
• Able to build a proof of concept independently, without relying on engineering to validate an idea.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and reconcile conflicting priorities without escalating every issue upward.
• Strong written and verbal English — able to translate technical detail into clear business requirements and vice versa.
• Comfortable working in conditions of uncertainty and overlapping product areas
• Fluent Polish and English language skills

Nice to Have

• Experience as a developer (any stack, extra points if backend/infra-adjacent).
• Familiarity with headless/composable commerce (SAP Commerce, commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, etc.).
• Experience with usage-based/consumption-priced products.
