As Senior Product Manager for Compliance, you’ll own the platform that decides who can drive, deliver, and use inDrive across 47 countries—directly impacting user safety, regulatory posture, and bottom-line risk. You will lead the transformation of our driver compliance tools into a scalable Compliance Platform capable of supporting new business lines, global audits, and strict data privacy standards while powering regional expansion today.
Key Responsibilities
- Set Compliance Strategy: Own the long-term vision and strategy for compliance at inDrive. Secure leadership commitment to it.
- Own the Compliance Product: Own end to end the product that decides who can take orders on inDrive: document requirements by market, document processing, and access control.
- Support Regional Compliance: Own how requests from regional compliance teams are taken in and prioritized against regulatory risk and business impact.
- Launch Markets and Requirements: Be accountable for compliance readiness of new country launches and new regulatory requirements.
- Reduce Compliance Incident Costs: Own the cost of compliance incidents, including fines, suspensions, and mass access restrictions.
- Build for Audit and Privacy: Make sure the product meets local data-protection laws and regulatory audit requirements.
- Drive Cross-Functional Delivery: Align roadmaps across Regional Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk, Engineering, and leadership.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Product Experience: 5+ years of product management experience at high-volume platforms (Ride-hailing, On-Demand Marketplaces, FinTech, or Logistics), with a focus on platform or internal products that other teams and services depend on.
- Rules-Driven Products: Experience building products where external or policy requirements set the logic, such as compliance, risk, Trust & Safety, payments or tax. Experience working directly with legal or regulatory teams is a plus.
- Records & Lifecycle: Experience with products that manage accounts, documents and their statuses over time, such as onboarding or account management, where data quality and decision history matter.
- Multi-Market Launches: Experience launching or adapting products across several countries with different local requirements.
- Platform Evolution: Experience moving a live system onto a new platform without disrupting operations, and turning repeated one-off requests into configurable solutions.
- Systems Literacy: Ability to partner closely with engineering teams on data models, integrations and rules configuration without needing to write code yourself.
- Data & Business Acumen: Highly analytical, with experience making trade-offs between risk, lost supply and cost.
- Stakeholder Management: Experienced in leading alignment across business, operational and technical teams and leadership.
- Communication: Business-fluent English proficiency (B2/C1+ or equivalent).
