At Inovalon, we believe that when our customers are successful in their missions, healthcare improves. Therefore, we focus on empowering them with data-driven solutions. And the momentum is building.

Together, as ONE Inovalon, we are a united force delivering solutions that address healthcare’s greatest needs. Through our mission-based culture of inclusion and innovation, our organization brings value not just to our customers, but to the millions of patients and members they serve.

Who You Are

You are a Senior Product Manager within the Insights business unit, responsible for the Datastream product line and its API-based healthcare data products. You translate complex business needs into product strategy, roadmap priorities, and execution plans across eligibility screener, patient history, and medical record location products. You work closely with product owners, engineering, legal, marketing, sales, customer success, and customers to strengthen product-market fit, support commercialization, and bring new use case products into new markets. Your impact comes from being a strong product manager and communicator who stays close to stakeholders, customers, and evolving market needs.

What You'll Do

• Develop business cases and product strategies for Datastream products and related platform capabilities, including build, partner, or buy decisions.

• Build and maintain product roadmaps across eligibility screener, patient history, and medical record location products, aligning priorities across markets, customers, data sources, and internal stakeholders.

• Translate large business requirements into epics, product backlogs, requirements, and prototypes, and partner with product owners, architects, and development teams to support effective execution.

• Lead roadmap prioritization and cross-functional release planning, coordinating work across engineering, clinical teams, legal, operations, marketing, sales, and customer success.

• Gather and synthesize customer, market, and stakeholder feedback through interviews, customer sessions, and ongoing partnership with go-to-market teams to improve product-market fit and identify new use cases.

• Partner with Marketing and Sales to shape messaging, positioning, pricing strategy, and supporting materials that clearly communicate the value of healthcare data products.

• Manage product dependencies, risks, and gaps across multiple teams, and communicate progress, priorities, and business impact to executive stakeholders, including revenue-related updates.

• Represent the voice of the customer and market in internal planning and external interactions, helping ensure product decisions reflect real customer needs and market dynamics.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 8 years of software product management experience managing platform, integration, or data products, minimum of 5 years of healthcare information technology experience, and minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile development methodologies.

• BA/BS Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Strong product management experience in healthcare, including real-world data, identified data use cases, healthcare data sources such as EHR, claims, diagnosis codes, and procedure codes, and data-driven products.

• Experience creating and launching new products, entering new markets, managing product-market fit challenges, and partnering effectively with product owners, development teams, marketing, sales, and customer success.

• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customers, internal partners, and cross-functional teams while translating business needs into clear product direction.

• Understanding of API-based products and how healthcare data products work; analytics or SQL experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, with strong organizational, prioritization, troubleshooting, self-management, written, and oral presentation skills.

• Demonstrate growth potential and learning agility by quickly building expertise across new healthcare markets, data domains, and customer use cases.

• Demonstrate leadership by influencing cross-functional teams, building alignment with stakeholders, and collaborating effectively through differing priorities and viewpoints.

• Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting priorities and approaches across multiple products, markets, and dependencies while staying focused on outcomes.

• Demonstrate creative thinking by identifying practical ways to strengthen product-market fit, clarify product value, and improve commercialization.

• Demonstrate analytical skills by interpreting product metrics, market inputs, and business requirements to inform strategy and roadmap decisions.

• Nice to have: Clinical trials experience, FHIR format experience, data analytics experience, AI product work experience, software development or API software development experience, nursing or healthcare provider background, and experience working in regulated healthcare environments.
