The Senior Product Manager I will help shape and advance reporting capabilities for Nielsen's Ads and Outcomes measurement portfolio. These products help clients understand advertising performance, audience delivery, and business outcomes through clear, trusted, and actionable insights. The role will help bring together customer needs, data, design, technology, and AI to create experiences that make complex measurement easier to explore and use.
You will own product work from discovery through launch and adoption. You will work with product, engineering, design, and client-facing teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter. You create structure in ambiguous situations. You move initiatives forward. You make practical decisions based on customer needs, business value, data, and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product direction for assigned areas in alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Translate customer, market, and commercial insights into clear product opportunities; partner with Design and Engineering to shape scalable solutions.
- Own the roadmap and backlog, making prioritization and trade-off decisions; develop product requirements, and prototypes.
- Lead initiatives through discovery, delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Use research customer feedback to guide decisions; build alignment across the organization to move these decisions forward through influence.
- Ensure product experiences are consistent across user interfaces, APIs, and other delivery channels.
- Define product goals, KPIs, and adoption measures, and use them to evaluate impact.
- Identify high-value opportunities to apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to simplify workflows and improve customer outcomes.
- Shape connected AI product experiences that bring together related data and insights to help users answer broader business questions.
- Contribute to a strong product culture by sharing knowledge, supporting teams, and raising the quality of product thinking.
- 6+ years of experience in product management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in SaaS, DaaS, analytics, data products, or enterprise software.
- Experience taking complex initiatives from concept through launch and adoption, guiding collaborative teams and influencing without formal authority.
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to understand data models, data flows, metrics, and measurement methodologies.
- Modern AI aptitude, including familiarity with model evaluation, prompt design, MCP, and agentic workflows.
- Comfortable using AI tools to support requirements, user experience design, research, and documentation.
- Experience applying customer feedback, product usage data, and business results to guide prioritization and UI initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile product development and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha, analytics platforms, or prototyping tools.
- Experience in ad tech, audience measurement, or media analytics is preferred.
- Ability to explain complex topics to technical, commercial, executive, and customer audiences.
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable creating structure in ambiguous situations.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
