About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager - Investment at Axis, you will lead the strategy, development, and growth of our investment products and experiences. You will work closely with Technology, Design, Data, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to make investing more accessible, intuitive, and meaningful for our customers.

You will combine strong product judgment, customer empathy, commercial thinking, and execution skills to define product opportunities, build a clear roadmap, and deliver investment experiences that meet customer needs while supporting business growth and regulatory requirements.

You will..

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Axis’s investment products and customer experiences.

• Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and product improvements across the investment journey, including onboarding, account funding, discovery, investing, portfolio management, and withdrawals.

• Translate customer, business, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear product strategies and prioritized initiatives.

• Lead product discovery through customer research, market analysis, competitive research, data analysis, and experimentation.

• Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for investment features and experiences.

• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations to deliver secure, intuitive, and scalable investment products.

• Work with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and external partners to ensure investment products meet applicable regulatory, suitability, disclosure, and customer protection requirements.

• Develop a deep understanding of investment products, customer behavior, regulatory considerations, operational processes, and industry trends.

• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to measure product performance and make informed prioritization decisions.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators, including acquisition, activation, funded accounts, engagement, retention, assets under management, and customer satisfaction.

• Design and manage product experiments to improve conversion, customer engagement, investment outcomes, and long-term retention.

• Manage product launches from planning and readiness through rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and communicate product decisions, priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and progress clearly.

• Identify opportunities to simplify complex investment concepts and make financial information easier for customers to understand.

• Support the development of product processes, documentation, controls, and operating practices as the investment business scales.

• Mentor other product managers and contribute to a strong product management culture.

You have..

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with experience owning and launching digital financial products.

• Experience developing investment, wealth management, brokerage, retirement, trading, banking, payments, or other fintech products.

• Demonstrated experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and delivering products from discovery through launch and iteration.

• Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, customer journeys, and digital investing experiences.

• Experience working with compliance, legal, risk, operations, and other stakeholders in a regulated environment.

• Strong customer research, problem-solving, analytical, and product discovery skills.

• Experience using data, experimentation, and customer insights to guide product decisions.

• Strong understanding of product development practices, including agile delivery, prioritization, product discovery, and user-centered design.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.

• The ability to make thoughtful decisions in situations involving ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex regulatory or operational considerations.

• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and a bias toward delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.

It would be a plus if you have

• Experience building brokerage, robo-advisor, wealth management, retirement, managed portfolio, or self-directed investing products.

• Experience working with securities trading, order management, custody, clearing, portfolio management, or market data systems.

• Experience with investment account opening, identity verification, suitability, disclosures, tax reporting, or regulatory workflows.

• Experience working with investment advisors, broker-dealers, custodians, asset managers, or financial technology providers.

• Knowledge of U.S. investment regulations, including SEC, FINRA, AML, KYC, and customer protection requirements.

• Experience building products for first-time investors or underserved customers.

• Experience with personalization, recommendations, financial education, or behavioral finance products.

• Experience using product analytics, experimentation, customer feedback, and research tools to improve digital products.

• Experience mentoring product managers or leading cross-functional product initiatives.
