Senior Product Manager - Receive EMEA

Reports to: Group Product Manager (Receive)

Location: Belgrade

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to own Receive across EMEA. At Sokin, we are building a world-class product team that can help us remove the borders, barriers and burdens from global business.

Product Management at Sokin is all about creating and delivering an ambitious roadmap with your team and working continuously with clients and stakeholders to ensure your product is driving real value for our customers and the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of something challenging and transformative, someone who wants to play a critical role in driving our success.

We place a high value on curiosity. The best Product Managers here are endlessly inquisitive about our customers, our data and how money really moves.

About Us

Sokin is a next-generation B2B financial services provider, enabling businesses to make and receive global payments with greater speed, lower cost, and total transparency.

Our mission is simple: we're simplifying global business - so businesses thrive wherever they choose to grow. We deliver this across:

  • Global payments and receivables

  • Foreign Exchange (FX)

  • Treasury management

  • Finance reconciliations

We are expanding rapidly with an established presence across EMEA, APAC and North America. Backed by strong global infrastructure and industry-leading partners, we're redefining how businesses move money around the world.

Our clients span industries from sports and entertainment to logistics and travel, and our community is growing fast. We're building a team of exceptional people who share our ambition to transform the future of global payments.

As our Senior Product Manager, Receive EMEA

Receive is how our clients get paid: payment links, payment forms that collect by card, open banking and alternative payment methods, and a growing set of tools around the invoice, including invoice generation, invoice scanning, and a hosted and embedded checkout for ecommerce businesses. You'll own this proposition for EMEA, from the roadmap to the numbers.

You will decide which collection methods we offer, in which markets, and in what order, balancing what clients ask for with what drives acceptance, conversion and the speed at which funds reach their account. You'll make the call on where to build, where to partner and where to wait for a market or scheme to mature, and you'll own the commercial result: volume collected, conversion, cost of acceptance and client adoption.

As a senior member of the team, you'll set the standard for how Receive products are discovered and shipped, help the Receive Group Product Manager shape strategy across regions, and mentor Product Managers around you.

Your role as a Senior Product Manager at Sokin:

  • Own the Receive roadmap for EMEA, aligned to the Move Money vision and to company objectives

  • Decide which collection methods to launch in each market, including cards, open banking, local direct debit schemes and alternative payment methods, and build the business case for each

  • Own the metrics for your markets: collected volume, conversion and acceptance rates, cost of acceptance, time to funds available and client adoption

  • Take new capabilities such as invoice generation and hosted checkout from discovery through to launch, working with Product Marketing and Sales to bring them to clients

  • Work with Payment Success and Core Platform on reconciliation, attribution of incoming funds and status visibility, so clients can tell what has been paid without chasing

  • Work directly with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to deliver value often

  • Spend time with clients, Sales and Account Management to discover where collection is slow, costly or manual for them

  • Work from Sokin's Jobs to Be Done catalogue: describe the jobs your customers and internal users hire your product for, the outcomes that matter, and the evidence behind them, and keep that picture current

  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Treasury so that new collection methods are safe, well controlled and properly priced

  • Mentor Product Managers and contribute to the Receive team's standards for discovery and delivery

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You have 6+ years in product management, ideally in payments acceptance, PSPs, acquiring, open banking or B2B fintech

  • You understand how collection works under the surface: card schemes and acquirers, direct debit schemes, open banking, wallets and local alternative payment methods

  • You have owned a customer-facing payments product with commercial targets, and can show what moved as a result of your decisions

  • You're analytical and enjoy the mechanics of funnels, conversion and acceptance data

  • You own your roadmap and can identify problems, make decisions and drive things forward without waiting to be managed

  • You're comfortable working with financial, risk and legal stakeholders to design solutions that are user-centric yet compliant

  • You have enough technical depth to work closely with engineers, including on third-party and partner integrations

  • You enjoy mentoring others and raising the standard of the team around you

  • Curious and inquisitive: you ask why before you build, dig into the data and the customer's real situation, follow questions past the first answer, and are never satisfied with 'that's how it has always been done'.

  • Comfortable using AI in your role: you use AI tools as a matter of course to research, draft, analyse and prototype at speed, and you stay fully accountable for the result. AI is a tool that sharpens your judgement and never replaces it: you check what it gives you, and the thinking stays yours.

Please note, candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in.

Sokin is an equal opportunities employer and committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment. As a growing global startup with bases across multiple countries, we were established on and continue to promote an agile, flexible working culture. Please reach out to discuss any accommodations you may require during the recruitment process.
