This position will require an advanced technical intellect to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of software products and services to navigate product adoption, strengthens business growth and resolves potential technical roadblocks. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Technical Support, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate customer insights into valuable, intuitive software solutions. Must be able to successfully combine strategic thinking, technical understanding, and project execution skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and customer/developer communications. This is a remote position, preferably based in the CST or EST zones working with standard business hours that include some flexibility to meet customer and project timelines. Infrequent travel will be required for regional meetings. Only candidates who are US citizens or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship will be considered.
Position Overview:
As the Senior Product Manager - Software you will play a crucial role that turns customer needs into intuitive workflows, development-ready requirements and successful releases. You will partner closely with engineering, QA, customer success, and commercial teams, bringing clear priorities, proactive communication, and accountability without requiring close oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer discovery and strategy. Lead interviews, workflow observations, and usability testing. Translate research, support feedback, and usage data into actionable insights. Own a roadmap that balances customer value, business goals, new capabilities, bug fixes, and platform health.
- Hands-on design. Personally create Figma wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes across web, tablet, and mobile. Define complete workflows, including permissions, validation, error states, and edge cases. Validate usability with users who have varied levels of technical confidence.
- Requirements and agile delivery. Own the backlog, epics, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria. Partner with engineering and QA on refinement, sprint planning, and delivery. Resolve questions promptly, manage scope, track committed features and fixes, and communicate risks early.
- Product acceptance and release readiness. Validate customer-facing features against requirements and intended workflows and provide product sign-off before release. Coordinate pilots and acceptance testing, write release notes, and align customer communications and internal enablement. Partner with QA and engineering on quality and technical readiness.
- Mobile app releases. Manage operational releases in App Store Connect and Google Play Console, partnering with engineering on builds. Coordinate beta testing, submissions, listing updates, review responses, staged rollouts, and post-release monitoring. Maintain release checklists and address cross-version compatibility.
- Commercial impact. Partner on positioning, go-to-market plans, demos, and sales and customer success enablement. Contribute to pricing, packaging, and feature-entitlement decisions. Support thought leadership through customer presentations, webinars, or content. Measure adoption, usability, and business outcomes after launch.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of product management experience, including substantial hands-on ownership of B2B SaaS; equivalent demonstrated experience considered.
- Proven ownership of initiatives from discovery through design, delivery, launch, and post-launch measurement, with clear examples of personal contribution.
- Experience shipping browser-based software and native mobile or tablet apps, including hands-on release coordination in Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
- Practical Figma proficiency: personally, creating wireframes, workflow diagrams, and interactive prototypes—not only reviewing others’ designs.
- Strong customer discovery and usability-testing skills, with an ability to simplify complex operational workflows for users with varied software familiarity.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
- Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
