Built on the world’s most comprehensive and accurate map of the Internet, the Censys Platform delivers real-time visibility and actionable intelligence needed to accelerate triage, investigate threats, hunt adversaries, and manage Internet exposure. We're trusted by half of the Fortune 500 and government agencies all around the world, and looking for people as passionate about the problems we're solving as we are.
At Censys, our mission is to bring internet visibility and intelligence to the world’s security teams. Our platform not only identifies potential threats, but provides actionable insights and enables proactive defense strategies. Founded by researchers and practitioners, we are deeply committed to the quality, trustworthiness, and transparency of our data and results. As our own strongest critics, we continuously innovate to better understand the Internet and empower our customers with the visibility they need to succeed.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for a Censys product or solution portfolio. You’ll lead launches, partner closely with Product Management and Engineering, and translate complex Internet intelligence capabilities into clear value for security practitioners and decision-makers.
Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you’ll bring strategic judgment and hands-on execution. Your initial portfolio will reflect business priorities and the complementary strengths of our product marketing team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead product launches from strategy through execution, defining audiences, positioning, launch plans, and measures of success.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to understand capabilities, align on customer value and launch readiness, and resolve competing priorities.
- Own positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for your portfolio.
- Enable Sales through training, tools, and direct participation in customer conversations, demos, and events.
- Apply customer feedback, competitive insights, and win/loss findings to improve go-to-market strategy.
- Partner with Marketing to translate product priorities into consistent content and programs that drive adoption and pipeline.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, or related roles, with demonstrated ownership of positioning and go-to-market execution.
- Experience marketing products in cybersecurity or related technical markets, with a strong understanding of security buyers, practitioner needs, and enterprise buying cycles.
- A track record of leading product launches, with clear examples of decisions owned, tradeoffs made, and results achieved.
- Experience working directly with technical product managers and engineers, challenging assumptions, and driving cross-functional alignment and execution.
- Technical credibility to engage practitioners and translate complex capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging.
- Experience working directly with Sales and customers, including presenting to technical and executive audiences.
- Experience partnering with Demand Marketing and Content to turn positioning and product launches into programs that drive pipeline.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Exposure Management, Attack Surface Management (ASM), or cyber risk.
- Experience with Internet intelligence, Internet infrastructure, or external attack surface visibility.
- Familiarity with supplier security, security ratings, or cyber risk intelligence.
