About Phorest
Phorest started in 2002 on a busy salon reception desk as a simple text-reminder tool.
Today, we're a SaaS company and a trusted partner to over 155,000 hair, beauty and medspa professionals worldwide. Our all-in-one software and AI-driven tools help them manage bookings, take payments, market their services, grow their client base and get the best from their teams.
Everything we build helps the salon and medspa industry thrive.
We're also a Certified B Corp, and 25% of the company is owned by Phoresters. When the company grows, everyone has a stake in that.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the commercial and positioning strategy for our most sophisticated customer segments and advanced operational workflows globally.
In this role, you’ll serve as the dedicated PMM partner embedded with the Product squads building capabilities for complex, multi-location, and clinical business environments. You’ll ensure that what we build solves meaningful problems for advanced operators, lands with clarity, and directly drives adoption, expansion, and retention.
With a global remit, you'll build our core positioning, messaging, and launch playbooks from scratch. You will then partner hand-in-hand with our regional Product Marketing Managers across the UKI, North America, DACH, and Australia, equipping them with the tools and frameworks they can adapt to their regional strategies.
This is a chance to shape how we talk to our most important growing customer segments, while helping to amplify the standard for how Product Marketing works at Phorest.
What You'll Do
Customer & Market Intelligence: Act as the strategic voice of our most sophisticated and advanced customer segments. Uncover deep operational workflows, regulatory nuances, and complex buyer needs directly from customers and regional teams, pairing these insights with competitor movements to shape product roadmap priorities and commercial strategy.
Positioning & Product Storytelling: Own the global positioning and messaging strategy for complex, multi-location, and clinical capabilities. Create clear, 'feelings over features' narratives that cut through technical detail, giving regional PMMs a strong foundation they can easily adapt for their regional strategies.
Commercial Partnership & Strategic Filtering: Act as the strategic backbone for our regional PMMs, who lead day-to-day conversations with local sales and commercial teams. You'll do the heavy lifting on the groundwork; building battle cards, pitch talk tracks, and objection-handling guides that set them up to succeed in their regions.
Global-to-Regional Launch Readiness: Define how we tier and roll out major product releases with Product and Product Ops. You'll hand off ready-to-use launch packs to regional PMMs so they can execute locally without having to reinvent the wheel.
Experimental GTM & Data-Driven Refinement: Adopt a ‘trial and refine’ mindset to explore innovative launch channels and message testing. Use Looker, funnel analytics, and regional adoption feedback to measure real-world performance, challenge assumptions, and continually sharpen positioning.
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Partner with regional PMM peers to share what worked, swap notes after launches, and refine our shared templates so the whole team gets better together.
What Success Looks Like
Clear Business Impact: You can draw a direct line between your product marketing work and real business results (adoption, revenue, and retention) in our key customer segments.
Product Squads Seek Your Input: The '3 Amigos' (Product Managers, Designers, and Tech Leads) actively bring you into discovery and roadmap planning because they value your market and customer insight.
Regional PMMs Feel Supported & Amplified: Regional PMMs across UKI, NA, DACH, and Australia have a strong foundation and enablement assets they need to show up as trusted strategic partners in their local commercial conversations without getting bogged down building materials from scratch.
Strong Peer Partnerships: You collaborate smoothly with regional PMMs, keeping our global messaging consistent while respecting and championing their ownership of their local markets.
Clear, Human Storytelling: Product narratives for sophisticated capabilities move away from dry technical feature lists and lead with compelling, ‘feelings over features’ commercial messaging.
Who You Are
You are a strategic, commercially minded storyteller who thrives on turning complex operational challenges into clear, compelling narratives. You are curious about the people behind the businesses we serve, bring a calm head to fast-paced environments, and are excited by the opportunity to build playbooks from a blank slate rather than just maintaining existing ones.
You genuinely enjoy setting others up for success. You're happy doing the foundational work and building the assets that help regional teammates shine in front of local sales teams, customer success teams and marketing.
What you bring:
Typically 7+ years of Product Marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex, high-impact product areas, multi-region initiatives, or pillar-level launches.
Proven experience marketing to nuanced, multi-stakeholder buyer personas (e.g., operational leaders, practitioners, and finance) within complex or specialised software ecosystems.
Deep experience across the full PMM lifecycle; from gathering customer insight and shaping product roadmaps to building positioning and executing launches.
Strong commercial acumen with comfort using Looker or similar tools to evaluate funnel metrics, adoption trends, and prove GTM ROI.
Proven ability to build deep partnership with embedded Product & Engineering squads, while working seamlessly with distributed, regional go-to-market teams to absorb field feedback and translate it into actionable product marketing assets.
A collaborative mindset; eager to share learnings, give and take feedback, and help make our PMM team playbooks better for everyone.
