About Zafin
Zafin is an AI platform company for regulated institutions. We help organizations modernize complex operations, introduce new capabilities and execute with greater intelligence, control and accountability.
Our portfolio includes Zafin AIOS for governed agentic AI, the Zafin Banking Platform for product, pricing, offers, billing, loyalty and relationship management, and Zafin IO for enterprise integration.
As we continue to expand our platforms and market presence, Product Marketing plays a critical role in connecting what we build with the problems our customers need to solve.
What is the opportunity?
We are looking for an experienced B2B SaaS product marketer who can turn market and customer insights into clear positioning, compelling messaging and focused go-to-market programs.
As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will take ownership of Product Marketing workstreams for assigned platforms, solutions and strategic initiatives. Working with the Director of Product Marketing, you will translate product and market priorities into differentiated messaging, go-to-market plans, customer-facing narratives and measurable market activity.
This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Pre-Sales, Industry Advisory, Market Intelligence and teams across Marketing to bring our platforms to market and communicate their value to customers.
We are also looking for someone who is fluent in using AI for Product Marketing. You should be comfortable creating repeatable workflows and AI-enabled processes that improve the quality, speed and scale of the team's work.
What you'll do
Market and customer insights
- Partner with Market Intelligence and draw on customer, prospect, Sales and Product insights to understand buyer needs, market dynamics and competitive alternatives.
- Translate research and market signals into actionable Product Marketing recommendations.
- Build a strong understanding of buyer personas, customer challenges, purchasing considerations and competitive differentiation.
- Stay close to customer and prospect conversations to understand how our positioning and messaging resonate in the market.
Product positioning and messaging
- Develop clear product positioning, value propositions and messaging for buyers, champions and users.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives that connect product functionality with customer needs and business outcomes.
- Maintain and refine messaging based on customer feedback, competitive developments, product evolution and market priorities.
- Work closely with Product and technical teams to develop a strong understanding of our platforms, capabilities and use cases.
Go-to-market strategy and execution
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for assigned products, solutions and initiatives, aligned with Zafin's broader Product Marketing priorities.
- Translate agreed target segments and commercial priorities into focused launch objectives, activities and measures of success.
- Drive assigned product launches and go-to-market initiatives from planning through execution, working with Product, Sales, Pre-Sales, Industry Advisory and teams across Marketing.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure launches are well planned, aligned and delivered effectively.
- Evaluate launch performance and recommend improvements to future go-to-market initiatives.
Product narratives, content and commercial support
- Develop product narratives, messaging briefs and priority Product Marketing materials, including solution briefs, product presentations, competitive positioning and launch content.
- Partner with Brand, Integrated Marketing and other teams to translate Product Marketing priorities into campaigns, case studies, thought leadership, videos, webinars and other market-facing content.
- Work with Sales, Pre-Sales and Industry Advisory to understand customer conversations, common objections and competitive challenges.
- Develop messaging, competitive insights and customer-facing materials that help commercial teams communicate Zafin's value clearly and consistently.
- Support campaigns, PR activities and market activation around product launches and announcements.
Performance and continuous improvement
- Work with Integrated Marketing to evaluate launch and campaign performance against agreed objectives.
- Gather feedback from customer-facing teams, customers and market activity to understand what is working and where improvements are needed.
- Use performance data, customer insights and competitive intelligence to continuously improve messaging, positioning and go-to-market execution.
- Contribute to market awareness, customer engagement and new-logo and expansion opportunities through effective Product Marketing initiatives.
AI-enabled Product Marketing
- Use AI thoughtfully across research, synthesis, competitive analysis, messaging development and execution.
- Develop repeatable AI-enabled workflows, templates and processes that improve the team's productivity, consistency and quality of work.
- Experiment with new approaches and tools while maintaining strong judgment, accuracy and accountability for outputs.
- Share practical AI-enabled methods and learnings that help improve how the broader Product Marketing team operates.
What you bring
- 4–6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing or enterprise software marketing, with demonstrable experience in core Product Marketing responsibilities.
- Experience taking ownership of Product Marketing initiatives, including positioning, messaging, product launches or go-to-market programs.
- Strong understanding of Product Marketing principles, frameworks and methodologies, and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
- Excellent writing, communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and relevant to different audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial judgment and the ability to distinguish between product features and what actually matters to customers.
- Experience using market research, customer insights and performance data to inform decisions.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Sales, Marketing and technical teams.
- Curiosity about technology and the willingness to get into the details of a product, understand how it works and ask thoughtful questions of technical and commercial stakeholders.
- The ability to independently manage priorities, move work forward and deliver high-quality output in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, recommend improvements and take ownership of outcomes.
- A growth mindset and a habit of bringing new ideas, frameworks and practices into your work.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Working with AI
AI should be part of how you work, not simply a tool you use occasionally.
At Zafin, we expect our teams to use AI to improve how they think, create and execute. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Copilot and other approved enterprise AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, content development and Product Marketing execution.
More importantly, you should be able to demonstrate how you have applied AI in your work, including creating repeatable workflows, templates or processes that improve speed, consistency and quality.
We value people who know when to use AI, how to validate its outputs and where human judgment makes the difference.
Bonus points
- Experience in financial services, banking or fintech.
- Experience marketing enterprise software to banks or financial institutions.
- Familiarity with banking technology, compliance or regulated markets.
- Experience with account-based marketing and enterprise sales motions.
- Experience supporting long sales cycles and tailoring marketing to strategic accounts.
- Product Marketing Alliance or Pragmatic Institute certification or training.
