ENTER THE GAME 🎮

As a Senior Product Motion Designer, you will join Betclic's Product Creative team and work alongside Product Designers, Creative Designers, Product Managers and Engineers to bring our Poker experience to life through motion.

This is a hands-on, mobile-first role. Here, animation is part of the product itself: feedback, rhythm, readability and emotion in a real-time, high-traffic environment.

Rive is at the heart of this role. You design animations that ship directly into the product, not mockups of animations.

We believe AI is transforming how great products are designed and built. That's why we're looking for motion designers who already integrate AI into their day-to-day practice to explore ideas faster, speed up production, automate repetitive work and collaborate more effectively with engineers, while maintaining a high standard of craft.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

In this role, your main missions will be:

Poker squad

This squad focuses on our in-house Poker software:

● The table experience and everything that animates within it
● Game feel: timing, transitions, feedback, celebrations
● Gamification, rewards and engagement moments
● Onboarding and key product journeys
● Interactive animations that must remain readable and performant on a wide range of devices

Poker is your main scope, but you may also be involved in transversal topics across Sport, Casino and Turf.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In your squad, you will:

● Imagine and produce interactive animated experiences in Rive together with Product Designers and Creative Designers, from concept to production
● Build and maintain state machines and data binding, so animations react to real product data and states rather than playing on a loop
● Work hand in hand with Flutter engineers on integration, naming conventions and performance
● Create files that fit our motion principles and Design System, and help shape how the Product Design workflow evolves at Betclic
● Balance craft and constraints: file weight, smoothness of the experience, accessibility, device performance
● Leverage AI throughout your process to accelerate exploration, production and iteration
● Share your learnings and help the team level up on motion

HOW WE THINK ABOUT AI

AI is becoming an essential part of modern product design. It does not replace craft: it is a way to work faster, explore more ideas and spend more time on what actually matters.

Motion and Rive are no exception. We are actively experimenting with AI-assisted workflows across the whole creative chain, from ideation to production and integration. We are looking for someone who is excited to help shape this evolution through curiosity, experimentation and continuous learning.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm !
This job is for you if:

● You have 5+ years of experience as a Motion Designer, ideally on digital products
● You have solid hands-on experience with Rive, including state machines and data binding (or a strong motivation and proven ability to master it quickly)
● You have solid working knowledge of After Effects
● You have a genuine appetite for gaming: you understand game feel, pacing and what makes an interface satisfying to use
● You understand technical constraints and enjoy working closely with developers
● You have high standards for execution, craft and attention to detail
● You are comfortable working autonomously, managing several projects and taking ownership from brief to delivery
● You already use AI regularly in your workflow, and are curious about where it goes next
● You have professional working proficiency in English

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with some of the following is a plus, but not required:

● Gaming, entertainment, sports, betting or other highly visual digital products
● A background in or an appetite for Product Creative Design and UI
● Generative AI tools and AI-assisted creative workflows
● Working in multidisciplinary Product teams
● Scripting: expressions, basic code, or any experience automating your own workflow
● 3D: Blender, Cinema 4D, Spline or equivalent
● Design systems and scalable, reusable animated components

Motion Design, Creative and Product Design form a partnership at the heart of experience creation. They work together from discovery through delivery: exploring opportunities, framing intentions, testing directions, balancing constraints and collectively ensuring the quality of the final outcome.

This collaboration is built on a shared commitment to excellence: taking the time to explore, challenging first ideas and paying constant attention to the details that make an experience clearer, more desirable and more memorable.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

If your application is shortlisted, Elliot will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

Next, you will meet Jean-Bastien, Lead Creative Product Designer your future manager, followed by Antti, VP Product Design.

About two weeks later, you will complete a motion design use case.

Finally, you will meet Thomas, Chief Experience Officer, followed by Martin, Chief AI & Experience Officer.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
