What you’ll bring:
You are a collaborative communicator who builds trust across engineering, UX, and business stakeholders. You make decisions grounded in data, stay curious about customer needs, and are comfortable defending prioritization with evidence. Whether your background is in product management, technology, or consulting, you will find meaningful ways to contribute from day one.
- Proven experience in product management, including ownership of a product roadmap from discovery to delivery
- Background in compliance, regulatory, B2B enterprise software, or e-invoicing domains
- Experience translating complex requirements - regulatory, technical, or both - into clear, actionable specifications
- Track record of engaging customers and external stakeholders to shape product direction
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams alongside engineering and UX
- Familiarity with structured data formats (e.g. XML/JSON, UBL, PEPPOL, EDI) or technical specifications such as API designs or business rule models is a plus
- Customer-facing experience in ERP, tax compliance, finance transformation, or regulatory advisory - from consulting, implementation, or presales - is equally valued
- Experience with agile / scrum and backlog management tooling (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) is beneficial
- A genuine excitement about applying AI to accelerate and transform discovery, prototyping, and day-to-day product management
What you'll build:
As a (Senior) Product Specialist (f/m/d) for SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, you will lead the product strategy for one of SAP's most globally deployed compliance solutions - active in 60+ countries, deeply embedded in customer ERP landscapes, and at the center of a major regulatory shift driven by e-invoicing and statutory reporting mandates. You will own the roadmap for your product area end-to-end and drive product development from discovery to delivery. Shaping our transformation to a specification-driven development process, you will leverage AI to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into precise, actionable backlog items in close collaboration with engineering and UX. You will engage directly with country compliance experts, SAP field teams, enterprise customers, and external partners to stay ahead of regulatory changes and market needs. You will use product telemetry, usage data, and customer feedback to identify gaps, validate hypotheses, and guide prioritization. You will coordinate launch readiness across go-to-market, documentation, and enablement teams. You will also mentor junior colleagues and contribute to improving how the team works.
Where you belong:
SAP Document and Reporting Compliance is part of SAP Globalization Services - a specialised organisation of product managers, engineers, and compliance experts making SAP work for businesses in every regulatory environment on the planet. Our solution is active in 60+ countries, embedded in the core SAP system landscape (S/4HANA and BTP), and used by thousands of enterprise customers to meet mandatory e-invoicing and statutory reporting obligations. You will work as part of an empowered, cross-functional product team - with real ownership and direct exposure to customers, field teams, and partners across the full SAP ecosystem. The team is international and distributed, with a strong presence in São Leopoldo, Brazil. You will operate at the intersection of regulation, technology, and enterprise business - building a network that spans the entire SAP landscape while going deep on one of the most consequential and fast-growing product domains in the company.
