Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead one of the highest-visibility initiatives. This multi-phase program is focused on replacing a legacy Certificates of Insurance (COI) platform with a modern solution developed in partnership with a third-party vendor.
The platform supports the full lifecycle of certificate operations, including certificate issuance, renewals, compliance validation, and reporting for high-volume certificate processing. The solution is mission-critical to clients whose businesses depend on timely and accurate certificate management.
This project has significant executive visibility and includes involvement from business leaders, IT executives, CIO, multiple business stakeholders, and an external development partner. They will serve as a strategic leader capable of navigating complex organizational dynamics, influencing stakeholders at all levels, managing vendor accountability, and driving critical decisions across teams.
Success in this role will depend heavily on the ability to manage competing priorities, align stakeholders with differing viewpoints, and maintain momentum on a high-profile initiative.
Take ownership of a large-scale platform modernization project supporting enterprise certificate operations.
Drive project execution, governance, planning, risk management, and delivery across multiple workstreams.
Manage relationships with executive sponsors, IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external vendor partners.
Facilitate strategic conversations that bring the right decision-makers together and drive timely decisions.
Identify, communicate, and manage project risks, dependencies, impacts, and organizational considerations.
Hold vendors accountable for commitments, deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
Build trust with stakeholders while confidently providing pushback when necessary.
Evaluate scope requests and help stakeholders distinguish between critical business requirements and enhancements that can be deferred to future phases.
Coordinate closely with both technical teams and business process owners to ensure successful implementation and organizational readiness.
Create transparency through clear executive communications, status reporting, and escalation management.
Support go-live planning, implementation activities, and post-launch stabilization efforts.
