About the Position

As the Senior Program Manager, you will play a key role in advancing our mission by acting as the strategic lead for critical stewardship programs within the Stewardship team, with primary responsibility for endowment, current-use fund and other donor-facing reporting. You will be collaborating closely with the Managing Director of Stewardship, Donor Relations leadership, development officers, faculty, OHSU partners and Foundation leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage Stewardship Programs

  • You will lead the strategy, planning, implementation and execution of the OHSU Foundation's endowment, current-use fund, impact and other donor-facing reporting programs.
  • You will establish a clear vision and strategic direction for reporting programs, considering the full donor experience, the complete reporting process, organizational priorities and internal partners.
  • You will serve as the primary subject-matter leader and trusted partner for stewardship reporting, providing proactive guidance, consultation and problem-solving support to development officers, faculty, OHSU partners and Foundation leadership.
  • You will oversee additional ongoing Stewardship programs and projects as needed, including lectureship stewardship, donor recognition and signage, and endowed position stewardship.

Department Support

  • You will assist in creating personalized correspondence, writing and editing as directed by the Managing Director of Stewardship.
  • You will interface with OHSU and OHSU Foundation leaders, trustees, volunteers, donors, prospects and faculty.

Who You Are

  • You're able to conceptualize, oversee and execute complex processes, providing leadership and vision for their continued development and evolution.
  • Your written and verbal communications skills are excellent, and you have experience creating professional letters, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Your exceptional attention to detail and time management/organizational skills give you the ability to coordinate and manage various projects and tasks while regularly troubleshooting, adjusting and meeting deadlines.
  • Your demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills give you the ability to interact professionally, diplomatically and productively with colleagues and contacts at all levels.
  • You're compassionate and culturally responsive, with the ability to work with internal and external individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

You should have

  • 5+ years' experience with project management or program management, preferably in a higher education, healthcare or nonprofit fundraising environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; advanced skills preferred
  • Experience creating donor-facing communications preferred
  • Understanding of complex endowment and other donor-facing reporting processes preferred

Salary
$79,595—$106,126 USD

Pay

Salary is dependent on experience. Each salary band is broken into three "steps," which correspond with an employee’s experience/tenure, proficiency and performance in that specific role. New employees will typically start at step I of our pay band to allow for later growth, although more experienced candidates may be eligible to start at step II or III. The OHSU Foundation has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.
