The Opportunity
Virtource is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager / Programme Director to lead a major international SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) transformation programme for a global financial services organisation.
The programme has been running since 2024, with the first countries already live. The next wave is progressing toward critical testing, deployment and go-live milestones.
You will take overall programme leadership across multiple countries, project managers, workstreams, business teams, technology teams and implementation partners, ensuring successful delivery through go-live and stabilisation.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strong SAP Payroll / ECP experience, executive stakeholder management and multi-country transformation delivery.
What You Will Lead
- End-to-end programme delivery across multiple countries and workstreams.
- Multiple project managers, country teams and delivery streams.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll implementation and deployment.
- Programme governance across scope, milestones, RAID, dependencies and decisions.
- Testing, parallel payroll, reconciliation, cutover and go-live readiness.
- System Integrator and vendor performance.
- Executive and SteerCo engagement.
- Country readiness, deployment and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Alignment across HR, Payroll, Technology, Finance, Risk and local markets.
You will not be expected to configure SAP, but you must be technically fluent enough to challenge solution, integration, data and delivery assumptions.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Significant experience operating as a Senior Programme Manager / Programme Director.
- Proven leadership of large, complex HR, payroll or ERP transformation programmes.
- Strong experience with SAP Payroll / SAP HCM Payroll.
- Direct experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll strongly preferred.
- Experience leading complex multi-country payroll implementations.
- Proven delivery through:
- testing;
- parallel payroll;
- reconciliation;
- cutover;
- go-live; and
- stabilisation.
- Experience leading multiple PMs and workstreams.
- Strong System Integrator and vendor-management capability.
- Executive-level stakeholder and SteerCo experience.
- Ability to travel internationally approximately one week per month.
Highly Desirable
- Multiple SuccessFactors ECP country deployments.
- SAP HCM Payroll to ECP transformation experience.
- Global-template / local-country rollout experience.
- Financial Services experience across Banking, Insurance or Asset Management.
- Experience within another highly regulated global organisation.
AI-Enabled Programme Leadership
