About the company:
50 Sport is The Sports Entertainment Agency.

We build and grow social communities, deliver entertainment-led creative campaigns, and drive sponsorship value; connecting fans, brands, and rights holders worldwide. Uniting sport, entertainment, and culture through industry-leading creativity, social media, strategy and performance for clients including Qatar Airways, Ferrari F1 Team, FIFA, Prime Video Sport, DHL, and Jim Beam.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Client Services team as a Senior Project Manager, helping with planning and scoping projects, and project delivery. This role is for a full time, permanent hire.
This is a hybrid role: client-facing by design, with project management at its core. It combines the delivery rigour of a Senior Project Manager with the client ownership expected from the client services team, so you will own the plans, scope and budgets behind the work, and be the trusted voice in the room with clients when it matters.

We're looking for someone who loves translating fast-moving digital, influencer, and content campaigns from initial brief to final delivery. You’ll bridge the gap between big creative ideas and operational reality, ensuring campaigns go live on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Always looking for continual ways to improve things.

You'll work across major global brands, sports properties and entertainment platforms, owning project timelines, schedules, and workback plans. You’ll also help to scale best practises as the agency grows.
  • 7+ years' experience in project management within an agency environment
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies like agile or waterfall
  • Experience with project management tools like Productive, or Workbook (we use Productive)
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Figma, Asana, Jira, Trello, Basecamp etc.
  • Proven ability to take a complex or ambiguous client challenge and turn it into a clear scope of work, and project plan
  • Motivated by collaboration and able to work effectively across multiple agency disciplines
  • Someone who challenges constructively, asks the difficult questions for project risks and keeps momentum
  • Confident leading senior client conversations and presentations, handling difficult discussions and acting as a credible advisor to the client
  • Commercially minded, with experience of developing SOWs, negotiating scope and managing retainer run-rate directly with clients
  • Passionate about the role that sport, entertainment and culture can play in building brands and driving business growth

Desirable:
  • Agile training (Prince 2 agile or Scrum)
  • Experience working with major sports partnerships or with the travel sector, across a range of outputs
Project management and delivery:
  • You’ll work closely with all departments across the agency (strategy, editorial, creative, design) along with our Resource Manager to make sure the process from Brief to Billing is followed
  • Own project timelines, schedules, and workback plans for multi-channel social content
  • Deliver regular progress and status reports
  • Lead the daily stand up, with the team to run through where things are, any challenges or blocks, or any resource flags
  • Partner with our Resource Manager across creative, motion, design, and strategy to optimize resource and staff allocation across projects
  • Track project hours, manage SOWs (Statements of Work) and scope creep management, forecast retainer, and handle vendor contracts with the producer or influencer manager
  • Updating the forecast with the Global Business Director so it’s accurate based on work delivered
  • Projects don’t always go entirely to plan; unexpected roadblocks, scope changes, or tight deadlines are inevitable. Identify potential roadblocks early, design contingency plans, manage scope creep.
  • Refine ways of working and scale best practices as the agency grows.
  • Unflappable under pressure with the confidence to steer cross-functional teams and challenge scope when necessary.

Client leadership:
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a trusted delivery partner and the escalation point for day-to-day client contacts
  • Act as a trusted advisor and internal advocate for the client: understand their business, objectives and brand, and question, consult and where necessary challenge briefs so they get what they really need
  • Lead client discussions on SOWs, retainer run-rate and scope, negotiating where needed and flagging financial concerns early to the Global Business Director
  • Set clear direction for the account team, sharing client priorities, pressure points and goals with department leads, and setting the benchmark for ways of working
  • Hybrid working with flexible working hours
  • 23 days holiday (+ additional 1 day for each year of service capped at 5)
  • Private health insurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • 1 x paid Wellness Day
  • 1 x paid Volunteering Day
  • Your birthday off
  • Agency Christmas close down
  • Paid 4-week sabbatical after 5 years' service
  • Bike2Work scheme
  • Training and development budget
  • Enhanced family leave policies
  • Referral awards
  • Onsite gym
  • Regular company socials
