MEININGER Hotels. Where the comforts of a hotel meet the special facilities of a hostel. We run more than 35 hotels in Europe’s best cities, and counting.

Our Change & Technology team looks after the systems behind every booking, check-in and invoice: PMS, payments, channel management, booking engine, CRM and guest apps. We’re a small PM team with short decision paths, and our projects go live in real hotels every day.

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to take on the projects where several systems, departments and vendors have to move at the same time. Above all, we’re looking for a team player. We work with each other, not against each other, and that’s how we want to keep it.

Your Tasks

• Lead several system projects in parallel, from business case to go-live and handover into daily operations

• Bring together Commerce, Finance, Operations and Legal with our development partner and external software vendors

• Own scope, timeline and budget, and handle changes in a structured way

• Report to department steerings and senior management, and raise risks early

• Be a sparring partner for the other PMs and help us improve how we run projects

Your Profile

• You’re a real team player. You get people on board by convincing them, not by pushing them out of the way

• Strong communication skills. You know how to talk to a hotel manager, a developer, a vendor and a VP, and you adjust your style to each of them

• Solid stakeholder management: you know who needs to be involved when, and you can say no when it’s needed, without burning bridges

• 5+ years leading IT or system projects end-to-end, ideally software implementations or integrations

• Experience with external vendors and projects across several departments

• Enough technical understanding of interfaces and data flows to talk to developers

• A structured way of working: plans, owners, dates

• Fluent English, German is a plus

• Hospitality, travel or retail background and a PM certification (e.g. PRINCE2) are a plus

• Finance know-how is a strong plus, e.g. experience with finance projects or a background in the finance sector
