Senior Project Manager (India)
KaratWe're Karat , the world's largest interviewing company. Karat is transforming organizations around the world. We provide a powerful system for technical leaders at companies like PayPal, Atlassian, and Citi who want to take control of how they hire top engineers, elevate their teams and contractors, and stay ahead. At the core of Karat’s system are live, expert-led interviews, analytics designed to give leaders maximum visibility, and the most robust interview performance dataset in the world. Come join our Professional Services team Our Professional Services team sits at the center of Karat's largest and most strategic client relationships, turning signed contracts into successful, expanding partnerships through onboarding, delivery, and the ongoing work of proving Karat's value at scale. What you will do As Senior Project Manager at Karat, you keep engagement work moving for one or more of the company's most strategic accounts. You partner day to day with an assigned Delivery Partner, as well as work alongside Solutions Engineers and Client Partners who round out the assigned account pod. This is a senior individual contributor role: you make judgment calls and resolve issues directly with client counterparts rather than simply routing them. As one of Karat's first dedicated Project Managers in this model, you'll also help shape what this role becomes as the team grows. Own and manage the project plan for your assigned account(s), including milestones, task tracking, and scheduling across internal and external stakeholders, and report clearly on delivery progress and account health for internal stakeholders. Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for client project managers and coordinators, building strong working relationships. Coordinate logistics for in-person meetings, stakeholder syncs, executive business reviews, and account events, across US and India time zones. Own project-related documentation, including statements of work, change orders, functional and technical design documents, and contract approval workflows. Support the Delivery Partner on operational execution: surface risks and blockers early, and recommend solutions. Triage day-to-day project tickets and issues, resolving what you can and looping in the Delivery Partner or Solutions Engineer as needed. Help build this practice as one of Karat's first dedicated Project Managers: create onboarding materials, documentation templates, and standard operating practices, and share lessons across accounts as the team grows. The experience you will bring 5+ years managing complex program or project plans for enterprise clients, ideally including regulated industries like financial services Experience owning documentation-heavy, multi-stakeholder engagements, including statements of work, change orders, and technical design documents, not just task tracking Strong written and verbal English communication skills; comfort coordinating across US and India time zones A high-ownership, self-directed working style: you resolve issues rather than simply route them Familiarity with project management tooling such as Rocketlane, Smartsheet, or Asana Prior experience at a consulting or professional services firm, or in an enterprise SaaS delivery organization, preferred Based in India, with approximately 50 percent overlap with US business hours Curious what's driving this role right now?
